Graco TurboBooster® SafeSeat....anyone have one?

DD just turned 6yo and at her checkup last week she finally hit 40 lbs!!! (41 actually) and 44" tall. So now we can finally move her from a five-point car seat to a booster. Reading reviews, it seems as if this Graco rates well, but I always like to hear reviews from my buds on the DIS.

We need something for long legs. Even tho she is only 44", she has proportionally long legs so she needs something that will support her under her legs, otherwise she gets crampy on long trips.

So any info about the Graco? Any other ideas? TIA

Yes, we've had our 2 for nearly 3 years. We just took off the back. Our dd (7) is only 44#'s, so it'll be quite a while until she reaches the legal weight of 60#'s (for our state). It travels well on airplanes, too (cargo, not in the plane).

I know a lot of others with the same seat and everyone seems to like it.

Thanks, I am always glad to get some real world testimonials. In IL, the law is 80lbs and the joke in our house is DD will be the only 16yo taking the driving exam in a booster!

We just bought these for our boys. I have lots of friends who use them and have never heard a bad thing about them.

We have 4 (1 each for Daddy, Nana, Grandma and Grandpa) So far so good. DH just got 2 of the 4 from target this week.

By the way the birthday girl is very pretty!

My DD turns 7 next week and just hit 45 pounds at her exam last week. Only 46 inches tall also but with long legs. She does get a little cramped on long trips but doesn't complain around town which is most of our driving. The law in our state is only until 4 years old but I just don't feel safe with her not in her booster seat. Plus she can see so much better out of the window. I think it is an excellent seat for the price.
