Grab Bags at Downtown Disney

Yup I bought to bags in August my mom bout one and we each got one of those blasted buttons!!! Still tring to figure out what to do with them. Kids have an "auction" at school using good deed and bahavior dollars i think they will end up there. We also got twisty crayons and Disney Cruiseline Panama. Not so much exciting this time.

Another option would be those fill-up boxes at one of those stores. We got My Little Pony items, but there was something for the boys, too. We crammed oodles of things in there.

We love these! We filled the potato box and then went to do the pony and one of the CMs offered to do it for us since she had a system. She fit 4 ponies, every outfit and a bed in the box. The only thing she couldn't fit was the cake, she told me to put it in my pocket, lol. The other CM near the ponies, re-did our potato box and gave DH a lot more room. While more expensive than the grab bags, they are a great value!

OP- we were just there and they DO have the grab bags. The are at Mickey Mart for $6.99. If you go and they're not there then they probably just don't have enough slow-selling items to fill them with yet.

Here is where you must beware...They used to be marked for boys or girls once upon a time. I bought each of my boys one of these last weekend. We stopped outside for them to open them and here is what each bag contained:

-That's So Raven push button thing that didn't work
-Princess car sticker
-some other girl thing
-Disney racer

The boys were disappointed and while the Disney racer was appropriate, we had just bought the same toy off of the 4 for $10 wall. Everything else was for girls. I tried to get past it but my irritation got the best of me so I went back in and was given a refund for both bags. Just remember, if you're buying grab bags it's going to be leftover stuff that doesn't sell well or that they have too much of so don't get too excited!!
