gov't employee rate ?'s

Can someone please tell me what this is? What kind of gov't employee do you have to be? Federal only? How do you find out what the rate is, do you simply let Disney know you are an employee when booking? Thanks in advance!

If you are a DoD employee or active duty/retired military member, you can stay the Shades of Green resort. SOG is not a Disney resort but it is in WDW grounds across the road from the GF. Their web site is http://www.shadesofgreen.org .

If the Shades of Green is booked, ask them to roll you over to a Disney hotel. Have gotten some excellent rates that way. Then at check-in, just show your gov't ID.
