Does anyone know what the government rate for a hopper ticket is? My aunt and uncle are going to WDW with us next summer and he works for the government. They're wanting to purchase our tickets for us but weren't sure how much they are. Also, if you have one of these tickets, do we need id to get in with it? If we all don't enter together will we have a problem? Thanks!

Unless they are DoD or military (retired or active duty), there is no government rate. If they are DoD or military, they need to get them through the Dept of Defense. We both work for the federal government and would have gotten a government discount if one existed.

I just wanted to correct something mentioned on this thread. Their are special rates for SOME additional (not DOD) government employees. I get a special rate (same as military).

The SoG rates apply to retired civilian and military DoD.

There are also hotels in the area that offer government rates, these also include state/local governments as well as the BIG government.

I have used them myself, when DH's "CDL" wasnt good enough for a discount.
