What are these fees? They say its not in with the ticket so then when do you pay them?

Yes, it's annoying not to know exactly what it costs until you're almost at the end of booking, but from the airlines' point of view, people get mad at THEM and think they're getting all the money and raking in tons of profit if they post the price including all taxes and fees... the airlines don't get that money, they have to pay it to the authorities who levy it on us/them. It's pretty shocking to see how much of what we pay isn't actually airfare, but various taxes and fees. But then, running a secure, efficient airport isn't cheap either.

Oh well. GST going down 1% July 1st! That's a few dollars...

I'm not sure about all of the other airlines.But,as far as I know they are all the same as SWA (ie:in the booking process you can easily see the taxes and fees up front before commiting to a purchase).
