Does anyone out there have the Gourmet Mickey tea kettle that they had in the parks recently? Its white with tan and blue accents, and if so, does yours whistle?

Ours sounds like it *wants* to whistle, but for some reason, no matter how long we let the water boil it never actually whistles... Weird question I know, but I always thought tea kettles whistled, and thats how you know the water was finally boiling.

I have the same one and haven't even used it yet! Big help I am, right? To be honest, I put it away for my first home. I'm collecting that pattern for my kitchen. I just googled it, and it appears that it's *supposed* to whistle. Wish I could offer more assistance! (Isn't it adorable though?) :lovestruc

I have the older version. Mine's the white one. I've noticed with mine (had it for years) that it has to be pretty full and the top on completely tight for the whistle to work.

mine doesn't, it sounds like a train is coming:lmao:, I'm going to make sure the top is on tight and try again. :)

I actually have a different one its all stainless with just a small Mickey head on the handle and it actually only whistles when it feels like it! Its so weird I make tea every morning and sometimes it whistles and sometimes it doesn't! Maybe its a thing with Mickey tea pots : )
