I would be ok with losing Via Napoli and/or Crystal Palace. Via Napoli is good food however it's not very unique or any different than a local italian restaurant. And to me Crystal Palace breakfast is only worth it if it's a reservation time before the park is open. If it's not, I say toss it. And not sure if you can do this, but can you swap out your breakfast ADR under the DDP for the other ADR's you are paying OOP for?? Not sure if that's the way it all worked out based on food credits for TS. You have a total of 4 ADR breakfasts. As our money saver to have more $$$ for lunch or dinner we skip breakfast and just use snack credits for breakfast or eat oatmeal/fruit in the room. That's a big money saver for us. We only usually do one breakfast on our trips so we have more fun money for later in the day.

I second losing Via Napoli. It is loud and the pizza is decent but not spectacular. Breakfast at Garden Grill can be really filing and then use some snack credits at F&W to fill in for lunch.

I would keep Via Napoli because for a table service has excellent food for a relative good price. I would drop akershus because you can meet princesses for free and the food isn't great.

It looks like you are doing Garden Grill breakfast, Via Napoli lunch and Ohana dinner on the same day. I would definitely drop Via Napoli on this day.. that's a lot of food and if you get hungry you can easily snack at the Food and Wine booths for lunch.

FWIW, I wouldn't do more than one TS a day. It's a lot of time out of your day, plus a lot of food! We just got back and one TS a day was more than enough.

My husband just says you choose, we won't even know what was on the plan anyway.... Great help right? Thinking about getting rid of the Norway breakfast, It is scheduled at 8:00, My kids 17, and 24 don't like getting up early anyway... but....ahhh.. I love getting ADR's and hate dropping them.... Thinking about getting rid of Liberty Tree before MNSSHP..... but.... I don't know,,, I do know I Don't want to come up with over $700 more dollar.s Plus we have CRT on our first day that we are paying out of pocket..... and I am getting a $35 mini cake for our anniversary on Saturday, And we are doing the Star wars Dessert Party on Wednesday the 13th.... But I want a great trip, It will be awhile before we make it back... probably after 2020.... When I have grandkids... lol...

Oh, and my husband really like the characters at Crystal Palace, and he doesn't do too many characters.... So,,, Plus we like Breakfast choices better than we like lunch... and Crystal Palace will probably be out of pocket anyway....

I personally have never done a dining plan but is this what the deluxe dining plan looks like? We eat at most 2 TS meals a day, and use "snacks" or QS shared food for the third meal for the kids. I literally cannot eat that much.

We (my fiancé and I) did the deluxe plan in May for a short trip and enjoyed it. We usually did a breakfast before park opening (BOG, Cape May, GG) so we didn't take up any park time and then did a signature dinner (Cali Grill, Tiffins, Yachtsman Steakhouse, CRT)

The only dinner that took longer than 75 minutes was Tiffins.. but it was SOOO good. Our Cali Grill dinner actually only took an hour (our service was very rushed, so not a good experience)

We didn't feel like we were overeating because the portions at most signatures are small. There is no way I could do 3 TS meals in one day or even 2 buffets/AYCTE in one day.

Sign up for the Landry's Select Club and let them know you've got a birthday in September. That will give you $50 to spend at Y&Y.

My opinion is that you shouldn't pay for too many out of pocket meals early in the trip. We've had trips where injuries and illness made it hard to use our credits. Spend your credits and pay OOP after they're gone.

Are you staying 7 nights? I'm only counting 6 TS in your Dining plan list.

I'm with PP who says take Akershus off the table unless your teens are into princesses. My second choice depends on what time that LTT is on your party night. If it's around 4 pm, I'd keep it, but if it is 5:00 or after, then you are risking spending party time in the restaurant.

I would just sleep in the next day, and head to WS at 11am and use up some snack credits. Skip the Electric Umbrella and maybe keep your GG dinner.

Every since the first day at Disney, I believe the character meals and the restaurants makes the Disney experience..... If I just wanted to go for the rides I could go to Six Flags, I really enjoy the planning, the mind changing, the message boards, the trip reports, and all that goes in the trip, That includes the meals... I have been planning since last Oct. Saving money, working extra here and there to get the money saved up, only need about 400 or so more for the extra meals, and would like to save some of it, It is such a hard decision, my daughter told me don't over think it.... if she only knew lol.... Thank you all, I have a few more days to make the cuts, just can't decide yet... lol....
