Got The Welcome Home CD!

The Castaway Club welcome home CD arrived yesterday following the April 2nd Eastern. Oh, it was just what I needed after feeling sorry for myself these past 2 1/2 weeks that I have been back!

Bringing it to the office to torment my colleagues.

Unfortunately, we never received one after our January 2 Magic cruise, even after calling and asking for it. Oh well, we will be there in less than a year.

We didn't get one after our 3/26/05 cruise, and I am wondering... Maybe they only send them to people who *don't* book another cruise onboard? Maybe it is intended as a marketing incentive for people to sail again? If you've already booked another cruise, they figure you don't need an extra incentive.

Has anyone who rebooked onboard received a welcome home packet with a CD?

Hate to ruin this good theory, but we made the incredibly silly mistake of not booking onboard during our 2/5/05 cruise and we haven't received any marketing from DCL except for the coconut with the recipe for Palo's chocolate souffle. Also, this past cruise was mine and DH's second, but DD10 first and she never got her Castaway Club packet. Maybe they only go to adults??? I dunno.... In any case, I did book another cruise last week for May 14, 2006...

I didn't re-book onboard ... didn't get the CD ... even after calling and asking for it multiple times ... I did, after the third call, finally get my CC card ... but DD (an adult) didn't get one. DS got one (he was in a separate stateroom) but it had his first name and my last name (which are different) ... so I had to call again <sigh>

Yep, that's right. So much for that idea! We cruised 3/26 and the packet arrived today. Hope everyone else's shows up soon!

It is kind of bittersweet, because it brings back a lot of memories and makes me want to be back on the ship!

My favorite tracks are #1 and #9! We played it in the car this afternoon and the girls got a big kick out of it. For #9, I told them "Close your eyes. Imagine you're in a hammock. See the sun peeking through the palm fronds. Feel the breeze gently blowing across your skin." Ahhhhhhh! To be back on Castaway Cay...

I got mine today also. In addition to the tropical music, which I also found enjoyable, are some pictures and a screensaver.

We were on the Wonder in August, re-booked while on board.
We got our CC cards last week, but no CD. It took an email and two phone calls before they sent them to us. The letter with the CC cards said they were sending them per our request, so maybe that is why there was no CD

Okay, I can get the music to play--how do I get to the pictures and screen savers? I'm technologically challenged.

got the package with cd and cards for DH and kids, but not for ME!!!! Weird as there was a place for the fourth card, but no card. Maybe they don't want me back, just the rest of the family?

To see the pictures and screensaver you can go to My Computer and right click on the Castaway Club Icon. You then click on OPEN and you will see the file folders listed the photos, screensaver and music.

Didn't even know about the CD until I saw this thread and letter is being sent to request one. Did get the CC cards after calling and asking for them, and being told they were sent to my office (not).. We log in all mail received and besides, they know what a Disney Fan I am, so it would not have been tossed.

Oh, we sailed in Jan. 2005...
