Got the survey email for MMB today

I received the survey and filled it out. I bought MMBB and already got the benefit of 24 points for the price of 12. Definitely worth the $99! We will be traveling in December, so we will also be taking advantage of the included Memory Maker. We haven't been to any lounges, yet, so hoping to do those. The 5 day discounted park tickets are okay but only good for weekdays, so not so great for the small discoun or I would have bought at least one for our upcoming trip (if it could have been used on the weekend also). I also said that it would be nice if the discounted tickets were good for all traveling on a DVC reservation, not just those who live in your household. Using points for the Sorcerer's pass doesn't make sense for us since we need our points for the hotels. I let them know the good and bad, imo, and said that the price should not increase unless they include more benefits since not everyone can take/wants to take advantage of the ones they have.

Good news! From the terms and conditions of MMB;
  • WDW Tickets may only be purchased by the Member enrolled in the Optional Benefit Program for themselves and up to seven (7) guests in the Member's traveling party, for up to a total of eight (8) WDW Tickets per the 2025 Benefit Season.
They can be purchased for people outside of your household. They just need to be in your traveling party.

I think it is a great program for the price, we don't need the OTU points, but if we did, I would have paid for this membership.

ETA, I see it now when I click on Terms and Conditions, thanks!

I wonder why it's not on the first page of benefits and instead says this:
"Purchase specially priced 5-day weekday Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets with one water park visit included. Available for the enrolled Member and up to 7 family members living in their household. View Pricing Details. Please call Member Services at 800-800-9800 to purchase."

Anyway, I will see if any in my party are interested, but I doubt it. We are going to be going Mon-Mon, so they can't use the tickets the last two days (we're all leaving very early Monday morning, some might leave Sunday). The price is only slightly better than UT, which can be used any day of the week. The water park included is not much of a bonus.

I didn't get the survey, but I am going to Disneyland the end of November and was thinking of buying it to purchase the Disneyland/California Adventure tickets.
But I have two questions:
1. Is the PhotoPass option only for WDW? That seems to be what it says; it doesn't mention DL.
2. Can I buy an AP with it and first activate the AP in January 2027, when I'll be going to WDW 3 times that year?
Thanks.

I'm not sure of the answer to question 1.

But once you purchase a new AP, it's actually a certificate good to be activated anytime over the following 12 months. It doesn't sound like an AP purchase will stretch for you to Jan, 27. You'll have to buy Jan, 26 at the earliest.....

MaxPass used to include photos. This changed to Genie+ and now Lightning Lane.

So if you buy the DL tickets that includes Lightning Lane PhotoPass will be included.

Lightning Lane is different at land than at world.

I've only been to DL once in 1973, and in 2010 to DL and CA, with my stay in the Grand Californian. So compared to WDW, I am a newbie.
Wow. I just read the listing on the DVC website again. I didn't notice that the WDW tickets did NOT include Lightning Lane like the DL tickets do! That would explain why it says PhotoPass is included for WDW, and no mention for DL. Indeed, multi-day Lightning Lane does include PhotoPass.
Frankly, I don't need more pictures of my 71 year old self. However, due to it being the 70th anniversary I figured there'd be lots of fun special effects with the pictures,
Thanks.

I've had APs at WDW three times. I know I activated them when I went into a park the first time. I just figured with the MMB, since I'd be paying $99 for the DL tickets, maybe for the same $99 I could slip in an AP that wouldn't be activated for a year plus.

I got a survey that included a number of things including the MMB. It was nice as I was able to tell them how terrible I think that the program is by removing access for Blue Card members with the lounge access restrictions and how it now seems as a "pay-for-play" if you want to visit them, when it used to be that visiting the lounges was fairly straightforward. I also indicated that as an all-direct member, it makes me much less likely to buy points in the future if this is how we will be treated.

I also took the liberty to complain about how BPK was added to VGF and how original VGF owners have a much harder time trying to book Deluxe Studios, but that is probably water under the bridge...
We got shut of the MK lounge back in March and we are both Direct and MMB so that should have never happened but since we did purchase the one time use points and plan to use the memory maker that comes with it we still feel like we got decent value from buying it … completed the survey the other day

As a majority direct but international owner we are locked out of even the ability to purchase MMB which frankly is rubbish. Seems like we’re considered direct right up until DVC can’t be bothered. I’ve already given feedback on this to Member Services but I’d love the ability to give feedback to the email also. Either offer the program to all direct qualifying memberships irrespective of their residence, or don’t do it at all.
