Got back on Sunday after two weeks in a VERY hot Orlando! We go every October and this year was by far the hottest, record temperatures I believe and guess when the hottest day on record was..........YES...Our wedding day!
The first week, from 3rd October, all of the parks were very quiet, most of the rides were walk ons, the parks were fairly quiet which was lovely, as were the water parks, getting 16 sunbeds/chairs together in both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon was really easy! We went onto Crush 'n Gusher over and over and over and never had to hand our rubber rings in!!
The flight to Orlando was really easy, the hardest part was MCO....going though immigration, trying to collect enough suitcases for 16 people (and there were a lot of cases) and then handing them back in only to have to collect them again was VERY stressful!
The second week started to get a lot busier, long waits for rides etc, watching the parades were hard work compared to the first week but still enjoyable!
This holiday was a lot different than usual, we got married there which was amazing, as did my sister, her wedding on Cocoa Beach was beautiful. But trying to organise a group of 16 and trying to keep everyone happy was hard work, DH and I feel like we missed out on a lot due to certain awkward family members!!
We only got rain on our last two days and on the last day, the temperature dropped sooo much - overall we had amazing weather!
The flight home was the BEST....Im not the best flyer so to fall asleep not long after take off, even missing my meal and then to wake up to the seat belt sign and we will be landing in half an hour was FAB...

Best bits:
Mine and my sisters wedding days
Philarmagic, always one of my faves
Splash Mountain
Tower of Terror - LOVE this ride
Wishes fireworks - amazing!
My brother and his girlfriend falling in love with the place first time!
Not so 'best bits':
Trying to organise 16 people
Constantly waiting with toilet breaks, smoking breaks, general awkwardness!!
No bad bits about the parks....cant wait until 2nd October 2010 for HRH!!
Oh and I was so proud of myself for doing Halloween Horror Nights, this was good AND bad, good parts, all of the scare zones and being followed in the parks by creepy people and the BAD parts were the waits for the scare zones, most were between 70 and 90 mins, we ran out of time to do them all, really wanted to do Chucky but the park was closing, very dissapointing, we paid $74 each and only got 4 scare zones in, all the rest of the time was spent in loooooong queues!!
