Got the new Passporter today!!!

I'm wondering just like JJsmama.... I have the first edition of the cruise passporter....

I GOT MINE TODAY, ALSO!!!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

My DCL Passporter 2nd Edition came USPS.:D

I hope everyone else gets theirs soon!

Darn, I hoped it would come today, but the only UPS man I saw was my DH and he doesn't even drive a delivery truck. Oh, well, maybe Monday.

Hey! Maybe I should have asked him to sort through thousands of packages at the center to find mine. I'm sure he wouldn't have minded.

momm2four ...you should have just asked your DH to do that for you. I mean he has nothing else to do, except spend time with 4 children and a wife!!!LOL:teeth:

Seriously, I know how you feel about the wait!!! We leave in four weeks for our "Wonder" Cruise and haven't received our Doc yet!!!

Carol

Still waiting for mine here. Oooh I am so jealous that so many of you received yours. I ordered the deluxe edition this time. Last year I got the paperback. I will just have to continue reading my old one and wearing it out somemore.
Has anyone downloaded the Magical Disney Cruise Guide from allears-Deb Wills site? I just downloaded and printed the latest updates (all 84 pages) and now will be punching holes in the pages so that I can put them in a looseleaf. That should keep me busy until my new PassPorter shows up.;)
PassPorter please come soon.

we got ours today and its 100 times better then the last on. thank you jennifer dave and mickey for this great book

I'm cheap, I'm waiting for the book stores to get them so I don't have to pay shipping. Does anyone know when the stores will have them?

I haven't received mine yet either. :sad1: I did received a delivery notification from Jennifer and Dave yesterday so I am hoping maybe it will arrive Monday. :) I didn't want to pay the shipping fee either but since our cruise is 4 weeks from today (5/22) I didn't want to take the chance that the bookstores might not have it yet. Plus as time gets even closer I won't have time to run all over looking for it.

Hi, folks!

Hope this is okay to post here -- there are just so many questions about it, I thought it might help if I cleared some up.

The new cruise guides arrived in our warehouse on Wednesday afternoon, and we shipped a bunch of books Wednesday evening to those who told us they were sailing before May 5 (to ensure they received them in time). Next came the paperbacks -- the warehouse shipped these on Thursday and Friday, in the order we received the pre-orders. We sent out shipping notifications to all those whose packages shipped on Thursday -- we haven't yet received the confirmations for the ones shipped on Friday, so we can't e-mail those to you yet. Deluxe starter kits and refill kits shipped on Friday and more will ship on Monday. As soon we get confirmation of shipping, we e-mail it to you so you know it's gone out and when to expect it (roughly).

Those who've received their new pre-ordered guides already will be in the minority -- most will get them next week or the week after (depending on shipping method).

Bookstores take a while to get them in stock, as they have to go through a couple of intermediaries first. The earliest we'd expect them to show up in bookstores is mid-May.

Those who have a tip in the new cruise guide don't have their complimentary books shipped with the pre-orders, but we will make an effort to get them shipped in the coming week so you don't have to wait too long.

Hope this helps!

I received my DCL Passporter by regular mail yesterday! ::yes::
I live about an hour way from Jennifer & Dave. We had a big party at our house yesterday, so I haven't had much time to look at it. But it is cold and raining here today and that sounds like a good reason to lay in bed and read a book!:umbrella: :umbrella:

Got my in the mail yesterday, too! Looks great. Lots of new information and tips as compared with last edition!

Does it matter if you are taking the Western or Eastern cruise to get the book?.... I have the original one but some people are saying the new one is alot better and I am wondering if I should get it. We are doing the Western on May 22.... nothing like doing things the last minute!

I didn't get mine yet and I live "right down the road" (in Toledo, LOL) from the warehouse. I'm not sure I qualify as a preorder since I have a "tip" printed in this one and get a free copy. I sure hope so!

I have a tip in there too. I thought our paperwork said ours would be shipped in early May. I suspect they are taking care of the paying orders first.

I preorder my Passporter and it arrived today. I can't wait to read it. :hyper:

Still needing an answer-
Is it ALOT different than the original one I already have?

I'm also wondering if I should go ahead and buy the new Passporter. We don't cruise until next year and can't help but think that there will be another new one (or two) by then. I have last year's edition. Hum...decisions decisions! :D
