Got the FIRM Body Sculpting System 2

I am about to go do my 1st workout with it and will be back at about 3pmish to let you guys know what I thought.

:D

Okay once I learn all the steps I think it will be a very intense workout - I did the CD called total sculpt plus abs - it combines weight with low impact cardio for a good rounded workout.
I am sweating!
 
I've been very tempted to start this program. I will be curious to see what you think after a few workouts!

I have some friends at work that have been doing The Firm tapes for years. I tried some of them a few years ago but coudn't really get into it and didn't stick with it. Now one of them lent me some of the newer tapes and I bought the Body Sculpting tapes with the new fanny lifter and I love them! I have been doing these for a few weeks now and I haven't lost any weight yet but I do feel like I am definitely more toned. I am planning on ordering the Body Sculpting System 2 when I get back from our upcoming trip to DL. How does the sculpting stick work? Do you use it alot in place of weights. I just found the W.I.S.H. board and I'm glad to see there is someone else who likes the Firm!

I am sooo on THE FIRM band wagon. I have the body sculpting tapes. The only one i dare to do is the AB tape. I love it! It goes so great with a 2 mile watp tape. I feel so "skinny" for some reason after i do the ab tapes. I really enjoy it a lot and try to do it 3 times a week and rotate that with a 2 mile watp tape. These are the only "sets" of tapes i own and they are just awesome tapes and i'm not at all bored doing that AB tape. It's challenging, relaxing and fun all at the same time. I hope more of you guys venture out to the FIRM tapes and get on the band wagon. I did'nt buy the fanny lifter though i just had a step stool rubber maid thing i use that works just fine. I'm gonna try the other two tapes but i don't think i'm fit enough to keep that fast pace yet.
 

You use the stick fully assembled for added resistance,balance and as a weight - the two ends come off (they call them twigs) to be used as hand weights. They suggest that you should have hand weights a set of each in 3lbs, 5lbs and 8lbs - but not for a beginner. Even though I couldn't get all the moves - I still liked it and you do sweat and you can feel it in your muscles.
 
The Firm has radically changed my exercise regimen. I try to do The Firm three times a week. I've watched my body change shape, with amazement, actually! :)

Amazing before and after photos. Did my 2nd Firm workout and all I can say is WOW - its a workout but I really like it! I know I am burning fat and you really feel the muscles working. I will keep posting my thoughts.:D

You're all experienced web folks, so this may not be new news;) but there's a great board, http://www.videofitness.com that talks up a storm about home fitness videos. I'm partial to www.cathe.com myself, but you'll find plent of FIRM fans there:D

I'm still giggling about finding a workout thread here!

Have any of you taken advantage of fitness centers at Disney, or do you find there isn't enough time...aside from the 1000 miles you walk in a week?!:eek: :D

Hi Nativetxn and thanks for the welcome. Well, to be honest, I spend about 90% of my online time at VF and a lot of money on exercise videos...so to stumble on it here while doing my Disney investigating was fun and completely unexpected! Makes me feel not to far from "home" ;)

I read for the first time in "new messages" and found this W.I.S.H thread...I looked quickly for the meaning of W.I.S.H but have yet to stumble on it. I scanned the conference and it seems like weight loss and health are primary topics here? That's pretty cool.

Yeah, it's a pretty interesting contrast, eh? Yet, I feel I've improved my body in the last year, since that After picture was taken, as much as I had in the year between the Before and After picture. I haven't lost any more weight, of course, but I've been building up my body to make weight-maintenance easier. Hopefully, my wife and I will take some neat pictures during our Smoky Mountains hiking vacation next month!
