I find the best deals on Ebay. I haven't paid over $20 for a cartridge in years. Plus many sellers offer free shipping. I also use Ohmycrafts.com. Sometimes Joanns or Michaels will have them on sale.

Congrats on your purchase, you will love it!

Do you have a Menards in your area? I know it sounds weird, but DH bought my machine (the Expression as an upgrade from my original), cutting mats, and a bunch of cartridges there. They offer rebates, and the last batch of cartridges were only $4.99!

Michaels won't let you use coupons, but they do have good deals at times. Have fun!

the cartridge deals at jo annes for black friday were quite good. I also use halmark scrap booking dot com online. you can (at least in the past i haven't needed mats for a while) use jo annes coupons on the mats and accessories the coupons usually just exclude the machines at Joannes but i don't know if they have changed that you cant use the coupons at Michael's for anything

Right now cricutmachine dot com is having a black Friday sale. They have a bunch of carts for $12.95 plus everything is free shipping. If you plan on using vinyl with your cricut, the best place I've seen it online is craftvinyl dot com

This is actually where I got my Expression - $119! I got 2 cartridges on sale for 12.99/each (there was VERY little selection left at 7am! :rotfl: I will definitely keep looking at their ads though...I never look at their ads normally but I now will!

Has anyone bought from them before? When i searched them the other day...I read a LOT of bad reviews...

I've purchased from both places. I'm very new to the cricut world (just got it about a month ago from cricutmachine) so I can't say for sure over time I won't have any issues.

I have a Michael's sale flyer for Nov. 27-Dec. 3. They are having 30% off Cricut assessories.

I love the Menards ad! It's the most random combination of stuff every week: roofing materials, pre-hung doors, candy, moon chairs, batteries and Cricut cartridges. :rotfl:

ooh, I just bought from them yesterday...I hope they are ok...I asked a friend who has used them several times and never had any problems... I got a cricut cake for $49. I thought at that price a can see if I like it if not I can use it as a 2nd cricut to cut paper

You can use the Joann's coupon for cricut mats, blades, other cricut acessories just not machine or cartridges. I buy alot from Proudparents2005 on ebay. I have over 200 cartridges, so trust me I am always looking for a good deal.

Be very, very careful with Cricut Machine. There are security holes with their website. Many, many people have had their credit card info compromised and ended up with fraud charges. Mine was for $8600 worth of car parts.

Some people have luck with Paypal, or getting a "one time use" number from their credit card company. But these security issues have been going on for a couple years now, and they claim ignorance, and so I refuse to shop with them on general principle.

I do recommend Hallmark Scrapbook mentioned above. Also, when I was looking for prices cheaper than the BF deals, I noticed that via Amazon you can purchase directly from ProvoCraft, and they had better prices on some stuff than what was on their website. I bought 2 on Thursday, one for $23 and one for $24.

Never pay full price .most craft stores will have them on sale often .I got most of mine from Hallmarkscrapbook.com .Have fun and you will find so many ways to use your machine .

ww.cricutmachine.com

A lot of people on the scrapbooking board have bought from them in the past and many of them had their credit information stolen- it seemed to eminate from that site so we have all sworn off using them- it isn't worth the discount for the credit information to be stolen. We found that about 4 out of 5 of us who used them had the information stolen.

I have used cricutmachine.com about once a month for about two years now and have never had an issue although I did switch to paypal only about a year ago. You just can't beat the prices but sometimes service is slow but for a $12 cartridge I can wait.

I read on another board (don't remember now which one) that Proudparents2005 from Ebay is affiliated with cricutmachine . com, there were a few other sellers from Ebay that were connected to there also.

customcrops dot com is a great site too...they always have sales, usually for around 20 bucks but sometimes around 10.

definately if you have menards...i have gotten a bunch there (after rebate) for 4.99
