Got the code and the DDP

Hi everyone,
We are staying onsite for the first time at POFQ in April. I was reading the DIS around a week ago and read about "the code". I called last Wednesday and they said yes I have a code attached to my name (never got a postcard or e-mail), I did not make reservations on that day. I called the next day and made room only reservations for 10 days at POR in December for $87 a night plus tax, I told them I would probably be calling back to add tickets and DDP, they said OK. Called this past Sunday and added on tickets (MYW base) and the DDP. Got the 40% off the room but this time when I booked I had to exclude the first day, so it's for 9 nights only. They never said I couldn't get the DDP. Now I see people saying you can't get the DDP. They said they would mail my confirmation to me in the mail but gave me a price and confirmation number. I never told Disney I got a post card or e-mail, I told them I was just checking to see if I got a code and they said yes. I really hope they are going to honor it. Linda

there is a code(s) for room only, for packages, and for packages with dining. Depends on how helpful your cm is. My understanding is you give your pin number it brings up room only code. If you try to do package/dining with this code it won't allow it. However there is a corresponding package code that a helpful cm might find. Of course maybe they really aren't linked and really are 2 different things.

I always call and ask for a code attached to our name. I so far have always had one. Proves it doesnt hurt to ask.
