Always so happy to open the camper and NOT find any mouse droppings, dead bugs, etc. The only thing I had to deal with, other than the dirt I was too lazy to vacuum out, was a little mildew on the air conditioner filter.

There is one area of canvas above one of the bunks that has been wearing thin and really needs to be patched. I've never done that before and would love any advice on how to do it properly. the canvas over the bunks has the vinyl layer on it - not sure if that makes a difference.

I've never tried it, but I hear Bounce dryer sheets keep rodents away.

Sorry - I'm a duck ;) tape kinda guy.

Early in my camper's life I found a roll of off-white/light gray tape that matched my canvas cover almost perfectly.

"Duck" tape is one of man's greatest inventions.

So do I duct tape the rodent to the Bounce sheet or directly to the canvas? :rotfl2:

Great idea!!! Duct tape Mickey to your canvas to cover your thin spots and duct tape him to your dryer sheets to have Disney themed rodent repellent/air fresheners!
