OK I am a newbie dork. :confused3 I am a bit confused on some things....

*On my Magical Express info, all 5 of us is listed. But on my hotel info, Delaney (my 2 year old) isn't. Do I need to call about that or is it because she is two?

*I have yellow tags which I assume is for luggage stating the resort we are at and our names. There is 4 per person for 5 people. Then I have these cardboard tags with the castle on them and a plastic holder and on the back there is space for addie, name, phone, etc...again I assume luggage tags....but there are only 4. There are 5 of us. :confused3 What if we have more than one piece per person? What are these for? Are we short because of Delaney again? Are these just for fun tags or do we need them for a reason? Should I call for more?

*There are vouchers in my info. One is for a Photo Pass. What is that??:confused3 And another is for Planet Hollywood. I thought Planet Hollywood was on the dining plan. Why would we need a voucher for that then?

*Where is the park tickets and information?

Sorry to be asking so many questions but I wasn't sure about these things.:sad2: HELP!

You should call you TA with questions, that is why they are there.
But, your 2 year old may not be listed as she is only 2 and does not require a ticket. Also the hard plastic luggage tags with the castle are keepsake luggage tags, the others with your hotel listed are for DME. Once you check your luggage at the airport you will not see it again until you get to your hotel at disney!
You will reseive a free 5x7 photo with your photopass at MK, you get a $15 gift certificate at the Planet Hollywood and you will pick up your tickets at the MK. I hope this helps! Have fun!

Welcome newbie dork! I'm an oldie dork (in so many ways), and I'll try to help. The 2 yo is most likely not on most of the paperwork because she's under 3 and therefore not ticketed, no DDP credits, doesn't count toward room occupancy, etc. They do list her for ME because of the seats, but nowhere else. The yellow tags with the name of your resort are for ME--you need to use those if you want them to pick up your bags for you at the airport. They are not needed for the return home. The other luggage tags where you can fill in your name and address are just gifts with your package--you're free to use them or not. And yes, you're short one because of the 2 yo, but it shouldn't matter because you're not required to use them.

The photopass and PH vouchers are also gifts with your package. You can redeem the photopass voucher for a free photo at the parks (maybe also online after you return home--I don't remember). PH is on the DDP; the $15 voucher is just a little bonus gift. You can use it separately or in conjunction with DDP credits (to pay for OOP items).

You won't get the actual park tickets until you check in, though the type of ticket you purchased should have been listed on your initial confirmation. Actually, even after you check in you won't get separate tickets--they'll put the park tickets on your room key. They call it your "key to the world" card. You'll use it as your room key, park ticket, DDP card, room charges card (if you choose), and your "admission" to EMH hours at the parks.

HTH, and have fun!

Can't ask a TA if there isn't one!;)

Ok so we are ok without having Delaney on the info. Just as long as she is listed in the express info:thumbsup2 I don't get the Planet Hollywood. I know I have a voucher. But why if they are on the meal plan?:confused3

I have to go to MK to get my park hopper tickets for the whole week? Why wouldn't they send them with the info? That makes no sense. So if we don't want to do MK 1st and want to go to AK our 1st day....I have to travel to MK to pick up my tickets before I head to AK?:confused3

Thanks Thunderbird! Sorry. You were posting when I was and I didn't see your post.

Ok that relieves my mind. I wasn't sure if I messed something up somewhere.

So I get my tickets at the hotel:thumbsup2

You will get your park tickets when you check into your hotel. You can go to any park the 1st day! Hope this helps and we will be in WDW with you from Aug 25-Sept 1! Yipppeeeee....less than a month!

I don't get the Planet Hollywood. I know I have a voucher.

Some people pay out of pocket for meals, not using their dining plan. For instance in January, we went to Planet Hollywood the day we went to AK. We did not use our TS credit there, and used the $15 credit that night for dinner, and paid the rest oop.

We are going to use our Planet Hollywood voucher for a late dessert our first evening at the park after we are done shopping in DTD. popcorn::

Have a great time!

The photopass is a photo system that Disney uses to record your visit. For instance, like all amusement parks there are CMs waiting for your arrival and around the park to take your group picture so instead of picking up the photo as you leave you give them your "photopass" and a CD/DVD or whatever is made and you are purchase all of the them, etc., I am not very with the complete details because we have never used it but that is basically what it is.

I hope that helps, and the other questions have been answered. You don't even need to wait for your luggage at your resort, just check-in and go on into one of the parks. Your vacation has begun and your luggage will be delivered to your room. Neat, uh?!

As stated elsewhere you won't get tickets at all. the ticket information will be encoded onto your room card/key. Keep it with you at all times.

I didn't get this was this for all packages?

I didn't get the photopass 5x7 with my perks either. I called my AAA TA and she stated that there are certain perks at different times so it depends when you book. I ended up getting the $15 Planet Hollywood voucher, a free game of miniature golf, a Sea Raycer rental--pay for 60 min and get 90 minutes. I really would have liked the Photopass over the Sea Raycer. My son isn't quite old enough to drive it by himself and our combined weights are a little over the weight limit and I am not sure they will let us ride. I guess we can try and see what happens.

They're just trying to get people into PH. Most guests end up paying for some food OOP, even on the DDP, so this is an incentive for people to think PH when deciding where to purchase OOP meals.

Thanks! You guys are awesome! Who needs a TA when I have you all?!:rotfl:

Too true. There are some great Disney-oriented TA's out there, many on this site, but you can almost always learn more on your own here at the DIS than you would from a general TA.

My dh and I rode together 13 years ago, and I'm sure we were bordering on if not over the weight limit, but they didn't make us weigh in or anything. The only caveat I have is our boat sat pretty low in the water, so we encountered a lot more spray than a lighter boat would have. Your son will probably see that as a perk (though I could have done without it on a cold, January day)!

Ok, I have a question, so I hope you don't mind my jumping in here:goodvibes . Our DME tags came today for our September 14th trip, but are we supposed to get anything else from Disney?? I remember last time we went, we also recieved keepsake luggage tags and stuff. I booked directly through Disney, so there were no other travel agents involved. Thanks!!!
