YAY!!! Seating together in the family area... :cool1:

:rainbow:

Hee, yeah, when I got my tickets I got the seating chart off the website to check where we were. Lol.

Aren't in the little glass private bit like last time sadly. but still nice seats.

When I went to DLP a few years ago on the direct train, me and my parents were the only one in our carriage, think we tried every seat! Lol.

I think it's really smart they have a family section! More places should implement it. A lot funner for kids too as they can make some train friends. :-)

Just checked my seat and i have lesuire select seat on the way back in January lol! More room for kyra to fidget on my lap with lol. Thats a result.

Cor, that's amazing they did that for you and you didn't ask.

I lvoe leisure select, adn always pay the extra for it. I love the food, and the huge chairs......I wish the journey was longer!

In Januarny going to Paris we were delayed by an hour outside the tunnel, I was really chuffed....unlike all the huffy business people. Got to eat my fry-up without missing any scenery!!! :-)

I think if it happened on the way to disney though the ants in my pants would get to me!

OMG, I jsut read your signature! HOW many times ahve you been this year!?!?!?!

well well, I think it's different when you're travelling with kids... I really hope we won't be delayed like the people before... I could kill someone!

Just enjoy yourselves first!!! It's harder with kids, not that I don't like mine :lmao: but would be nice to have a little break sometimes...

Hee, do you know your seat numbers?

http://www.directline-citybreaks.co.uk/Eurostar Seating Plan Coach 11

this is my coach, and we're seast 61 and 65, when I saw the tickets I panicked we werent together, but was so glad when I found this!!!

At the bottom there's a link to all the coaches, so you can see!

Hey, that's a great link. Have saved it to my favs now! I should be receiving our train tickets soon. Have also asked for family area, so hopefully we shd get that.

The first time we went to DLP, there were no standard seats left (booked via travel agent), so we paid to go by Leisure Select - and OMG, we were the only ones in the whole carriage. Was so nice not to tell the kids to ssssshhhush all the time. On our way back to London, there was another family - how annoying for us lol. It was good though coz it meant that the kids could sleep lying down on 2 seats each and we sat at another table.

When we went via Paris in April, I felt sooo conscious that we were the only ones with young kids in the carriage/coach. So each time they talked a bit too loud, I kept going sshhh. Everyone else was either trying to read their paper/book or sleep. There were others there with kids but they were big kids. Felt quite uneasy to be honest and didn't really enjoy the journey much.

Kyra is always so loud on the trains lol, you can be sure she will stand in the middle of the carriage and either do a dance or sing Zip-a-dee-doo-da lol.

I gave up trying to sshh her lol
