Got our Dream and then gave someone else theres

On our last day in the parks July 4th we decided to go to Epcot to do world showcase. It was the only thing we were planning on doing. Anyways the kids decided they wanted to do all the kidscopt stuff so since we had time we went back to all of the areas in future world went ahead and got 4 fp's for Soarin just incase we wanted to ride later after showcase. We headed on over to showcase from the test track area along the sidewalk bridges that go towards mexico and split to the center. We saw some cast members motioning to us. I though they were trying to tell us we couldnt be there. The people in front of us decided to turnaround and some others headed towards mexico on the walkway. I went ahead and went to cm's to see what they wanted. Turns out we got Dream Fastpasses on a day wasnt really planing on riding anything. Well since we had them we decided to ride everything again. We did test track first and our car got stopped for like 15" in the fast part of the track. There was a young couple riding with our family of four. After all that waiting the guy told his girlfriend that they should get some kind of fastpasses for like Soarin for waiting so long stuck in the car in a joking manner. That got me to thinking. I grabbed my 4 fast passes that I got for Soarin earliar in the day and gave him them all. I knew we wasnt going to use them and I knew he would. It felt good to make someone elses day.

I had always saved unused FastPasses for scrapbooking, but after reading about other Disers giving theirs away, I realized that that was a much better use for them. I gave away a few on my last trip (when we were leaving the park for the day), and it was so great to make someone smile!

dont you just love doing that!! when we go the last couple days in the parks are for just sightseeing and maybe the occasional ride. my husband will grab fastpasses for rides we dont even plan to ride and hand them out, hes been doing it for years.

It was around 1040am. The only reason i remember is because we were making our way to Canada from the Test Track area right before World Showcase opened up.

We had a similar, yet different experience on our last day at AK. We went to do the Safari, see a few characters, eat an early lunch, and return to AKL to swim before we had to leave. After the Safari, we headed to Camp Minnie-Mickey at about 9:40. As we rounded the corner, 3 Dream Team members were at Donald's hut. We got in the short line of 2 families ahead of us, and on our way out were granted Dream Fastpasses. We kind of laughed because it was just our luck that we win them when we wouldn't use them. We continued through the rest of the characters. When we left the area, they were still handing them out. So basically everyone in the area had gotten in Donald's line and received them. As we were walking to join the rest of my family for lunch at Flametree, we offered the 4 Dream FP to several families. You would have thought we were trying to sell them timeshares. So we decided to stay an extra hour and skipped swimming for Everest and Kali.

I can't tell you how hard it is to give away fast passes. We finally approached a couple with our 4 fast passes and asked them to ride the ride twice. No one wanted to take them. Next time I will just give them to the CM working the ride for her/him to give out.

If I don't need my FPs, I always give them away. I started this when a young couple handed my sister and I two FPs for Test Track when the line was about 100 mins long!

I tried to give away some EE Fastpasses at AK the other day, and people looked at me as though I had the plague! Finally I gave them to the CM at the Tip Board and asked her to give them to someone.
