Don't know if any of you remember our ordeal just before we went to The Fort in May where our camper was basically falling apart! It had some serious delamination issues and had to be taken back to the factory in Indiana for repair!
We'll almost 6 weeks later....we got our camper back yesterday and it's better than it was when we first got it! They ended up stripping everything down to bare sides and even completely rebuilt the rear wall and took off all the fiberglass on every side and replaced it. It ended up being in worse shape than they thought when we first took it there. They replaced the roof and all the outside fittings and lights and even gave us a new surround sound system.
Since it was their fault (faulty glue was used when they first built the camper and the glue was coming apart from the walls!), everything was at the cost of the RV manufactuer and not one penny out of our pocket! :whew! It would have cost into the thousands if we had to pay for it! Only problem we have is that now our TV is broken in the camper and we'll have to replace it but it could have been a lot worse! Oh and I'm highly allergic to fiberglass particles (They didn't do too good of a job with cleaning up after the reinstalled the windows and fiberglass dust is everywhere and me, not knowing it, was cleaning up the camper last night and got it all over me and I can't stop itching!)
Don't know when we'll make a trip back to The Fort again but hopefully it we won't look as ugly as we did when we pulled in with the huge bubble on the side of the camper! LOL!
