Got My Travel Packet Today

from DLT. It was suppose to be here yesterday but Federal

Express had a break down on their truck!! It came today and I've

been pouring over it. The only thing I was disappointed in, was

the fact that the park hopper tickets are cardboard instead of

plastic like DW. It will be our first time at DL except for my

daughter-in-law who grew up in California. I am excited to say

the least!!!

We got ours yesterday!

The reason that they aren't plastic is that they don't have multiple uses like being a room key, credit card, etc.

Oh! That just means there will be more cards to keep track of!!

You can still use your room keys to charge too I'm sure.

You will have a great trip! We go a few times a year to DL/DCA since we are only an hour and a half away. We love it!

It is definitely a much smaller area than WDW, but none the less we love it. If you have any questions, let me know.

Your room key actually only works to open the door in the room. If you like to collect room keys often times you can ask if they have "previously used" keys. I came home from one vacation with 12 different keys between the three hotels and they all have different scenes on the front.

What you do have to charge to your room with is another piece of cardboard. They don't do much plastic at all even the AP's have recently changed, they are more like room keys.
