Got my Mickey Monitor Today!

Gee... I received my MM today too... Our AP expired last Dec. The entire time our AP were active last year we NEVER received a MM. Maybe Disney decided to show us what we are missing by letting our AP expire!!!

I often think these days, Why do they even send us the MM. It really offers us nothing anymore. Maybe they should not spend the money on the mailing and give us the codes

Is there some place we can call or email id we don't get our MM? I have had an AP since last OCt and still haven't recieved one.

MM has been "hit and miss" with us!

Sometimes it comes in my name, sometimes in DH's name, DS's name at my work address, sometimes NO MM....ladadadadada.....

This last one was lame, IMHO.

I agree!

Better yet, how about a Passholder web site that you can actually book your own rooms!
Instead of the little section on disney's website that just tells you what your "special perks" are!!!!
That, is sorta already like the MM, so just take it to the next step and let us book our AP rooms online!

Sure would be alot easier!

Hmm, I haven't received mine and all 3 of us have AP's (including 3 year old DD). But my sister who let her AP expire in Jan, got one. What's up with that??

Being able to book at passholder rates online would be excellent.

I think that the new codes will be released on the new Disney passholder site. This way, no one will expect it and there won't be as many rooms booked with the discounted room codes for AP holders. This means more people will have to pay rack rates! More money for DISNEY.....like they really need it. What does everyone think about this?

I noticed the other day that the "special offers" section of the ap site was "currently unavailable" so I'm hoping that means codes are coming soon.

So, I guess I be calling with one hand at 7am everyday, and I will be logging on to the passholder section on the Disney site with the other hand. Are they trying to see to what extent they can make the most loyal people do to visit "The Most Magical Place on Earth?" It is becoming a big big big big big game, and is everyone ready to join in? Who's the leader of the band?

The year I had an AP I never recieved a MM. I called three times, and it never got me anything, even after the CM promised he would personally see that it got mailed that day.

I got all of my AP info on the DIS anyway!

We just got our first time ever ap's and have yet to have the photo taken and all that-we were members of the Disney Club-thru my work and loved that but since they did away with the club, decided to go this time with the ap's but I am clueless at to what the mm is and all that. I did see a place on the wdwhome website for aps but was not able to get any further with that-couldn't log in. Is is because we haven't offically been there yet with our aps? Hoping that this ap (we got 6 total for everyone going) is going to be worth it. Please let me know all about aps-is there a special site I can go and what do I need to have to get on the site-we have what they call "exchange certificates" right now-anyway-like I said-this is the first time that we have ever gotten the ap's and we are just so excited! Found the Dis site and have loved every minute that I can put on the site as it all helps me to better plan our trip--and I thought that we were veterans! Still learning!

In order to log into the passholder section on the Disney site you will have to exchange the certificate for a pass. Mine looked just like everyone elses but on the back it said "annual pass" there is a numeric and letter codes that will appear at the bottom that is required to log in. The Mickey Monitor is a quarterly newsletter that is sent to you by mail and usually has the discounts for AP holders. The last one did not have anything good for rooms after April 17. I am going in May..... You won't get the MM until you exchange vouchers. Have a great trip!

That's what I thought. Oh well, we are going in May and hopefully we can find out what the discount might be when we get closer and confirm our rooms! Thanks for the reply! Have a great trip as well!
