Got my Magic Band today.

This will be a completely relaxed solo trip. I have only ONE reservation:
That Canadian steak house in Epcot. I'm going in the last week of January, and I will simply go with the flow. If one place is crowded I'll head somewhere else.

Kinda hard to make dinner reservation with a schedule like that. I know I'll miss out on Ohanas (the only reservations are for 9:20 at night. I plan to hit the early openings so that's right out.)
---and no signature restaurants for me. No character breakfasts. nuthing like that. Just good food. Epcott will always have an opening somewhere.

Basically, the dining plan will work for ME, not me for the plan. so we'll see if it works.

This will be an easy trip, and i plan to enjoy it.

so. What would you do with such an opportunity? I plan to hit a lot of the stage shows.

I'm going on a solo trip too. I did book a dinner for each night though. I also plan on watching a bunch of the shows and getting some spa treatments! Have fun!

OK. So it is. I will adjust my nefarious plans accordingly...But I'm still going.

I'll just pay cash for lunch at MK. and quick service that night.
Hmmm. I'll forgo BOG and get a pork shank at Gaston's Tavern.

and do the Columbia Harbor house for dinner, or something like that.

My last solo trip was January 2013. During the trip, I used my iTouch on Disney wifi to get reservations 20 minutes before eating. All reservations made after October (I think) require a credit card, with a fee charged if you're a no show, so you'll find openings at many restaurants.

Many TS restaurants won't take a solo walk in for some reason, even if there's room, I think because they can't take the groups before or after you. That's my free opinion, and it's worth what you paid...
