Got my first PIn ever, and can't use it.

I know I am not the first person to deal with it, but it still makes me sad!

It is for the $500 gift card for next year's visit. BUMMER!!!!

Kim, that's too bad! You got the best deal of the PIN codes that were sent out recently. We got our first PIN for the $556/adult staying at a value resort. I'm still trying to convince my husband to do it but he would prefer to go on a Disney Cruise in June. It's too bad the PIN offer ends 6/3/10 because the cruise he wants to do begins the end of June. Ideally we would have been able to combine the PIN offer for a stay at the parks with the end of June Disney cruise DH wanted. I'm trying to talk him into going to the parks with the PIN in April then again for the cruise in June, but that would be a bit too much to pull off because we would have to pay for airfare for 4 people to FL twice in two months! I don't know what to do at this point. I just might have to let our first PIN code go to waste. That would be a tragedy indeed!

I too just got my FIRST pin code ever for 40% select resorts 12/01-12/23! Emailed my travel agent Jan at Mouse Fan Travel immediately to see what's available for my existing dates of 12/05-12/12 I have booked at FW campsites, maybe get a room for a good price and not camp this time (budget traveler..LOL).
NOTHING available except a one bedroom suite at OKW or Saratoga Springs and even with the discount still pretty pricey.

Bummer!

Hopefully this is not the end of pin codes though. If Disney will send them and they're good, I'll try to use 'em! Lord knows I've been to WDW enough since grand opening, at least once sometimes twice a year since then.

I have that one too and can't use it. I think it's only the "best" one if you want to pay for a moderate hotel.

No moderates available either, unless the one bedroom suite at OKW or SS counts. Didn't try deluxe, too pricey even with the discount for a solo traveler. Oh well, will set my tent up at FW and enjoy the magic!
