Hi,

Yesterday I bought my tickets for the Fantasmic Dessert Package for the 9pm show on Sept 1!!:thumbsup2 The cast member told me that I had to pick up my tickets at the ticket booth or at guest services. I was so excited that i forgot to ask the following questions: Do I need to pick up the tickets the day of the show or I can pick them up ahead of time? Where EXACTLY is the place I need to go to to select my seats and at what time should I get there in order to get the best seats possible? At what time should I get to the seating aea for the 9pm show? Thanks alot everyone!!!!!!! :)

Day of the show pick up at guest relations booth

Select your seats go to the churro cart by the haunted mansion they will bring a booth to do that. I got to pick my seats at 7pm but I hear they changed the time to 8 pm so you might want to be there by 7:30 pm to wait in line to pick your seats.

To go sit in your seats for the 9pm show show up at 8:50 pm

I just made my reservation for the exact same show. I didn't ask those questions but my CM was great and provided all the info. She said you could pick the ticket up the day of or the day before the show date at Guest Services from 8-5. If after 5, she said you could go to a ticket booth. She said check in starts at 8 but you are seated in order of when you check in so most people get there earlier than that. ( I guess I shouldn't tell you that, you might beat me in line!) Maybe I'll see you there.

If you are staying at a Disney resort you can ask them to have your tickets at the front desk for you when you check in.

We have not been to DL in 10 years. Is it worth it to do the dessert thing to get good sets for Fantasmic, or can you get seats elsewhere without paying such large prices. I'm sure my Dh would not want to spend that kind of money since it is 4 of us all over 10 years old and considered adults!!:rotfl:

Yes and No If you dont want to spend time sitting around keeping a good place to sit for 2 or 3 hours then yes it is worth it.

If you can go to the late show you dont have to wait for seats you just find a place to stand after the first show people leave and you squeeze in.

I loved the reserve seating because no body was pushing me or kids squeezing in so they could be closer. It reminds me of a concert with no seating you push and shove your way to the front.

Id say if you have the extra money go for it but if you dont you can still see it but I would go to the later show.

We did the reserved seats the last time, and it was a huge pain. DL was the most crowded I had ever seen it that night. A CM told me to pick check in with someone in front of the HM (or across from, really) When I got there, they said I had to check in on the other end of New Orleans. I went there, and they told me the same thing about the HM (clear on the other side.) I was wasting precious time walking back and forth, fighting crowds, and getting hot and miserable. The next CM I encountered found out exactly where it was, and had me follow him to it. There were a bunch of detours and ropes going back and forth that way, which caused for even longer waits. Of course by the time I got there (it was the HM one) most people had checked in. I was SO angry. I could have probably got one of the better rows of seats (they had us in the worst possible place at that point.) if we had got there the first time. The amount of time it took to get this whole thing worked out, equalled to what it would have taken for us to stake out seats (for FREE.) So it was a complete waste of money, and bad experience in my estimation. I loved the show, but not the PS.

When my mom and I did this in April we picked up out tickets at guest services outside and to the left of California Adventure not the Disneyland one the day of the show! And both showtimes are to be in line at 7:30 to pick seats and then you show up 10 mins before show starts to get settled in your seat. I can't remember what time we lined up but I was like the 3rd or 4th person in line so my mom and i got front seats. :)

Last time we picked tickets up from Guest Services outside DL as everyone has pointed out. They will be available on the day of the performance.

They tell you to arrive 2 hours before for check-in and then you get seated based on your check in order.

A tip I read on these boards is to arrive about 2-3 hrs before and be the first for check-in then you get to chose any seat you want. We were second and had a fantastic view.

I am suprised that you were able to purchase for 9/1. We will be at Disneyland then and that was our prefered date. I booked via Vacation Planning as we are staying at GCH and they told me that there was no performance 9/1. So we are booked 8/31 9pm. I was hoping for the Monday night as there would probably be less crowds being a holiday weekend the Sunday night is going to be insane.

You will love it. We are doing it for the second time. Hopefully DS4 will be able to stay awake this time.

Take care
Angela

Here's a thread I have bookmarked about F! reserved seating. On this page, somebody took pictures of EVERYTHING about where to go, where to check in, etc. and it's very helpful. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1815941&page=4

If you go back to the beginning of the thread, you can read everybody's opinions about whether or not it's worth it, how they liked it, etc. We did it in March, and while it is quite spendy, my husband said he'd never do it any other way now. We really liked it and thought it was very worth it.

Hope that helps!

Hi!

Thank you all for all yoru great answers!!!!!

Angela, at first I had booked Aug 31 and then I realized that with the EP at 8:45 it would be hard to be at the booth for 8pm so I called to change to Sept 1. At first the cast member told me that their was no show then I told her that on the schedukle their was 2 shows (last day of performance) and then she said "you're right" and was able to switch my tickets for Sept 1. You should try to call back, they echanged them for me, i am sure that they would do the same for you!!!! :goodvibes
