Ok Booked it on Tuesday and just going over a couple of things in the email. But was hoping some can answer a few questions for me.

1. I asked for early dining, and a table for my family (3) since my DS sometimes... well can be a pain, and I did not want to ruin anyone else' dinner. AST said they will put in the request. But I dont see anything other than "Late Dining confirmed," early dining waitlisted.

Now do they always try ti fill up late dining first? It seems like no one can confirm early seating. Or at least the TA's I spoke with.

2. My Cabin: I was hoping for Midship Deck 2 got "2624" Closer to the rear. At first I was upset, and wanted to change it but dont know if this will be better or worst. Should I go through the TA or can I go directly now to DCL and try to get things in order myself in regards to table seating and cabin change if I decide?

3. Im in NYC, and I keep seeing raised seal Birth Certificate required. Well I dont recall any of my families BC's having a raised seal. We used these before with Carnival, and had no problems. Should I worry? Or just get Passports?

4. My DS is a "JR." On this confirmation they added "SR" to my name, is that ok? I have nothing that shows "SR."

ALL in all from what I can see here it appears that things are in order for my first Sept. 4, 2004 DC :D .

I just want to make sure I dont miss anything, since I have about 3 months planning. Well Im excited and ahhh cant wait.

Thank you in advance for any help here.

The only question I can answer is the one about dining. Actually Early Dining is the first to fill up, with Late Dining usually being last. Since you're confirmed in Late Dining, Early dining is probably all filled and you are waitlisted. At this point, there are no seats available in Early Dining. You can keep trying, and if you still don't have it, ask once boarding the ship. You might never get moved into Early Dining, so I'd start making plans on how to get through Late Dining. Early dining usually books up around 9 - 12 months in advance, with late dining usually being left for the late bookers.
