Got my Destination D and Scavenger Hunt ticket!!

I was at the Disneyland Destination D is September. They had about 1,300 people.

I really think that having a Dole Whip meet at the Poly may not be a good idea. Look at the schedule. There is a lot going on all the time, with about two hours for meal breaks.

The Great Disney Scavenger Hunt is May 12-13 at WDW. You don't have to be a D23 member to sign-up, but members do get a discount.

Destination D: WDW 40 is May 14-15 at the Contemporary. You DO have to be a D23 member (or their guest) to get tickets for this event.

One of my friends read my blog about this and she signed up to be a D23 member just to go to Destination D. I am so excited! I haven't seen her since our ABD trip in December 2008.

We didn't get in to Destination D but we did get in on the Scavenger Hunt. After hearing the lineup I'm really bummed about not getting in on DD, but I guess that's often the case with D23 events. Oh well. Money saved, I suppose.

It wouldn't let me access that - it would only confirm my scavenger hunt ressie. I've sent an email to follow up but the response says they're not open weekends. To be continued...

I encountered the same thing (only backwards). I signed up for Destination D, and was looking to see if Scavenger Hunt was still available. Wacky system.

Can anyone confirm that you can bring one guest to Destination D for each member? That's what it looks like when I try to register. I want to bring 2 of my adult children so I guess I need to buy another membership for one of them?

Yes, each member is allowed to register ONE additional person. But that guest costs another $175 as well. It's not a "free" guest. I think a few people thought 2 people were included in the one fee.
