First time I have ever gotten a code and it's not one that does me any good ! That sucks. My kids are adults by Disney standards.

Kids 3–9
stay, play and dine
for FREE
when you purchase this 5-Night/6-Day vacation package that includes room, Theme Park tickets and Disney Dining Plan.
US $794 per adult, based on adult double occupancy in a standard room at a select Disney Value Resort. For stays most Sun.–Thurs. nights 3/1/09–4/16/09. Includes most Spring Breaks!

The number of rooms allocated for this offer is limited. Child must stay in same room with adult. One Park per day. Tickets must be used within 14 days of first use. No group rates or other discounts apply. Advance reservations required. Offer is nontransferable. Maximum four Guests per room.

I got it today too but I noticed that the Deluxe room stays are extended into May.

It doesn't help me either. Just DH and I are going for a weekend getaway to celebrate my birthday. I don't want to bring the kids!

I just got that e-mail too!! I so wish we were planning on going this year:sad:
looks like a great deal...that's how they try and get you:crazy2:

I also got this code in my email yesterday... and I can't use it! I'm not planning on going in March or April. :confused3

I'm just waiting a pin code for us, we are planning to have a trip this year. Hopefully we got a pin code and enjoy the moment. :thumbsup2

Have a nice day everyone. :)

I don't understand this. Disney seems to know everything about me except my mother's maiden name. Surely they know that your kids are not "children" in their book. Maybe they think that you'll bring someone else's kids?

I got this email about a week ago, just as my youngest celebrated her 10th birthday and so is no longer a child.

Who sends these? The only Disney emails I get are the "Disney Insider." I am always wondering if I'm not looking in the right place. :scratchin

I got this as my first pin and we can't use it at this time either...both kids are the right age..I am so bummed...I am having disney blues as it is!:sad1:

I got this one in the mail today but it came in my husbands name. He has NEVER done anything with our reservations, I have always done everything in my name. Not that it matters, but you would THINK that Disney would send this to the one who books the trips. Not to mention, with all of the but 4 get 3 deals, this one didn't really save anything for me. I have one child that is under 9.

We are going in Oct and I am hoping for something else to come along. :goodvibes

I REALLY want this PIN code! I called yesterday and inquired if it was associated with my name and alas, the CM sid no and was not too helpful. I have the 4/3 deal booked but this is a much better deal for me, my friend and our 2 daughters. Any on have ANY idea on how I can swing booking this???

Two less days (5 nts vs 7 nts) but $634 savings and I guess you lose the $200 gift card. Still, a better deal than the 4/3 for us with 2A & 2C.

Anyone have any ideas how I can get this deal??? :scratchin

I'm in the same situation. Let me know if you figure out how and I'll do the same!

Update:

Wow, I have been calling Disney every few days trying to get this code. Today, after pleading with the CM for some pixie dust she said YES, the PIN is there so I booked!

This is how it worked out for me:

I had a package booked with the 4/3 deal for:
March 19-26 (7 nights) at POP standard 2 Adults 2 Children age 5
Room Cost: $616.74 4 Nights (get 3 nights free)
Dining Plan: $713.72 2A/2C 7 nights
Tickets: $878.54 2A/2C 4 Day Base-get 3 extra days free
Total Package for 7 Nights: $2209 less $200.00 gift card=$2009
or $287 per night ($315.57 per night without Giftcard taken into consideration)
TOTAL SAVINGS WITH 4/3 DEAL OFF FULL PRICE: $429.37 (not incl gift card)

The new package with Kids Stay Play Dine FREE:
March 19-24 (5 nights) at POP standard 2 Adults 2 Children age 5
Room Cost: $726.00 5 Nights
Dining Plan: $399.90 5 Nights for 2 Adults (kids are FREE)
Tickets: $483.96 5 Day base 2 Adults (kids are FREE)
Total Package for 5 Nights: $1603.90 with No gift card
or $320.78 per night
TOTAL SAVINGS WITH KIDS FREE DEAL OFF FULL PRICE: $517.56

So, our per night price is higher but we saved $605.10 by slicing 2 nights off of our reservation and changing to the KIDS FREE deal which I am very happy with.

:thumbsup2

I was just coming to this board to post the same thing. This is the first time I get a pin code and I can't use it. It also came in my husband's name and I book everything.

My kids are the right age but I can't take a vacation in April. But it is a great deal. I wish I could book a quick get away.

Oh, and it came snail mail.

What did you say? Please, share your secret. Everytime I call they say they can't tell.

FTR, I've got PINs before, but I really want this one!

:crazy2:

I've had PINs before too but I really wanted this one! I called every couple of days and the CM's always told me there's nothing they could do...that is until today.

When I called this morning I talked to a CM and told her straight up from the get-go my situation. I told her I had a package already booked but today was my payment deadline date and I was thinking about cancelling because it was just too much $$$ and I couldn't afford to pay the balance. I VERY NICELY asked her for some pixie dust. I asked her to find a PIN or some deal that would help me take the trip down to 5 nts instead of 7 for a good deal less $$. She put me on hold and came back and said lo and behold, after some research she DID find the PIN attached to my name!!! :cool1:

I was very happy and excited and thanked her profusely! Was it really attached to my name? Did they just sprinkle some pixie dust??? I don't know and I don't care but my warm fuzzy feelings towards Disney were restored today. They saved me from cancelling (which I probably wouldn't have done but I was fretting over my balance due-I didn't lie I just accentuated my frustration over the balance I was having trouble paying). I'm not telling this story IN ANY WAY to promote lying or stretching the truth to get a deal but just relaying my story and I am very happy with the Disney Customer Service I received today!
:worship: :thanks:

I got this code, too.

This sounded like an awesome discount until I priced it out. Turns out, it's only a savings of $273 for 2 adults and 2 children. That's like 15% off. Did I price it out wrong or something? I used ASM (standard room,) from Sunday - Thursday, 2 adults, 2 children, 6 days of base tickets with MYW+Dining and got a total of $1861 and change. This PIN deal would add up to $1588.

That's sneaky - they made it sound like such an awesome deal.

I got the deal today, but it does me no good either. It was great to finally get a pin though.:cool1:

We got this pin code today in the mail; however, we can't use it because alas our youngest will turn 10 on March 1st plus we are booked for Nov. Luckily we got a 40% off pin code about a month ago which is why we booked for Nov. The pin code came in my husband's name and he said our friends could use it because we are going at the same time in Nov but I had to point out that there were certain dates. Disney is being a stickler this year on rules and pin codes. We had tried to use the 40% code on a week that wasn't in the range.
