Got ME Tags in mail today-says DVC Hold on it?

we got our luggage tags in the mail today, it has the mickey head that says DD in it and under that, saratoga springs, then lists my name, then my name again for my tag and under that it lists DVC HOLD-Saratoga Springs. i have not seen one before say dvc hold on it. what does that mean?

Ours for BWV says it too. There was a thread about it, and no one knows for sure.

We have the same thing. I wouldn't worry about it. It is probably how to identify your luggage to baggage handlers at the airport. But that is of course, just a guess.

We received two sets of tags for our trip in early Sept. I had originally entered all of our data in May on-line but then Midwest Airlines put in a slight hiccup by cancelling our return flight from Orlando. I cancelled the entire flight with Midwest and rebooked with SWA. I called MS with new flight info and 4 days later received new tags with DVC Hold for WLV even though MS had told me to use original tags. I used the last set of tags we received and our luggage magically appeared in our room. I think it's just new wording on the tags for the luggage handlers but no one knows for sure.

With our trip to SSR, our home resort, in August, the ME luggage tags said DVC hold but our upcoming NON DVC Resort at WL , the ME luggage tags DO NOT say DVC hold.
Our DCL cruise in October also was the same, the ME luggage tags did not say DVC hold.
Since we are doing a non DVC vacation at Thanksgiving (all DVC's booked) I am assuming it is a way to identify DVC resort members but can't figure out for the life of me why???

I just got mine in the mail 2 days ago and it also says "dvc hold". I wonder what my new ones are going to say since we have added a day to the beginning of our trip. The first day will be at our "home" resort, and the rest of the stay at OKW. I will post back when I get the new ones in!

The tags will have the name of first resort - the one to which ME will deliver your bags.

You don't use the tags for the trip to MCO from OKW (If you do, they may end up back at OKW)
