I just made my reservations today for my trip in sept/oct. Got primetime seating for lecellier for a party of six, but could not get planet hollywood for dinner had to settle for 12:30pm seating and my party could be split up at different tables the reservation said. That is truly strange! I thought no one really liked planet Hollywood?:confused3

I was curious so I tried during the week I am going & a 2 random 5 day ranges in September and there isn't availability after 7 pm, maybe they don't take reservations after a certain time? But the times when I went it was always packed at night & a wait, so maybe, but I doubt it.

At Underground Tourist they sell Planet Hollywood VIP passes for $10. With those you will be seated at the next available table, even without a reservation. The $10 are deducted from your bill, so in the end you don't really pay for this service. All in your group will need such a pass though.

Maybe that's why they don't take any reservations after 7PM, so they have enough tables available for "VIP"s. :-)

I have never ever made a reservation at Planet Hollywood and have never been turned away. I think they take very few reservations (aside from large groups) and prefer to do walk ups.

True there is often a wait but it isn't because people have booked up the restaurant.

I tried to get a ressie for 4 adults at the beginning of Sept. I tried on 180 days out and for the next 4 or 5 days later. All they had was a 5:30. So the next time I called I said how can there be no tables this far in advance for only 4 for a time after 8:00 and I was told because they do not release that many tables for ressies, this is a walk up restaurant and I should have no problem getting in when I go at the time I want.:) So you should be ok just going at the time you want to eat. Last time I did get a ressie for evening for two and the time before that we just waited and it was about 15 minutes.
