Got e-mail, my japenese uncle died and ....

Hi all,
Got a sad e-mail today.My japanese uncle was horribile killed in a car wreck in japan last night.I started to cry so bad,he was a great man and i will miss him,then it hit me i don't have a japanese uncle or any family that lives out of the U.S.,my family is of italian desent.then the e-mail explained to me how my uncle had billions and they needed my bank accounts # to foward the money he left me.Wow what a great uncle he left me everything 100%.I will miss him so much So i'm filthy rich ,of course i did not give whomever my account #'s and deleted the e-mail.

Same thing happened to my rich Scottish uncle last year! I'm still waiting for my $35 million I had coming!

I continually have people with my last name or my first as their last who just up and die with no next of kin in South Africa. So, some really forward-thinking individual decides that we could say I'm the next of kin and we can split the money!

All I have to do is send all my info and money their way so they can take care of it.

This happens 3 or more times a week. I am just so sought after, can you believe it?

I have tried telling these people that as I'm not next of kin, it would be wrong (not to mention illegal, I'm sure) to represent myself as such, and I don't want to be extradited to a South African prison, but they see that answer as "Sure, let's go ahead". I guess it doesn't translate right.

Some people must think we were born yesterday... are they freaking serious? This is what my dh does for his job... he is a supervisor for internet fraud and he even works with the FBI sometimes. I know about any new phishers and scams right away. It's amazing what people will come up with and even more amazing how many people fall for it.

I have a friend who actually DID inherit from a long-lost relative who she had never heard of while growing up.

It was her deceased father's great aunt on his mother's side, and she died without children. I guess when they went through all the surviving relatives, my friend and her brothers were the only ones left. They all bought houses with the money.

However, her letter came from a lawyer and was delivered by certified mail.
