Got Crabs?

Do you have hermit crabs? What do you have in their tank/cage? I have sand, 2 houses, some palm trees, some climbing things and such.

Happy to say I've never had crabs!

and they seemed to die when they tried to move out of one shell and into the other.........got to big I guess.......very interesting though

omgosh i saw those in the mall the other day! they had one with shrek on it! i wanted it so bad.. mother said no!

You also need some extra empty shells, the next size up and some water..preferable a very shallow bowl they can climb in.

Oh and there are extra shells of various sized for them to switch out of. And they do this quite often. I only lost one crab and that is because I moved him while he was molting. That is a HUGE no-no!

I found one in my driveway late at night a couple of years ago.
We asked all the kids in the neighborhood, but no one was missing one. We gave it to one of the kids.
Wonder how long it had been wandering around?

How COOL would that be? I am hoping I can get to a beach soon, you can pick them up cheap there. At a pet shop, they are outrageously expensive. I got mine in Atlantic City 3 years ago

I want to get an old 30 gallon fish tank and make them a crabby bi-level! I think that it would be AWESOME! Oh and would need ALOT more crabs!

Crabs are wonderful pets.... I have a shoebox that I use for a playground. I bath them and then put them in there to roam and dry off.

I can't say I've ever had, or wished to have, crabs. Not my cup of tea.
