Got AP rate on phone, but lookup shows higher $???

Just changed my existing Reservation from POP to AKL with the AP rate of around 1400 for my stay. Looked up online and it showed just under 2300.

I think the guy said it would look funny at first (I don't know what he was talking about).

Is this normal?

You can't get an AP rate on line. You have to call and get it. The reservation search engine on the official site doesn't include discounted prices. That is why you get a diff. price when you are looking up a ressie.

Maybe I said it wrong. I meant that I made my reservation with the AP rate on the phone this morning. When looking up the reservation already made on the disney site, using the confirmation # they gave me on the phone, it shows a different amount.

If you do a search, you will find MANY problems with people viewing their ressie online, especially after making a phone modification.

There is nothing to worry about - you will get a paper confirmation - that is what counts.

LOL! We must be related Don't worry ~ if you confirmed it with a CM this morning you should be just fine. I'm sure at this time it will take quite a while for all the reservation info to be updated on-line.

I can smell the burned circuits on Disney's computers from here! I bet their IS department is going nuts trying to keep everything online.

I just checked disneyworld.com and it is telling me that my total for 2 rooms at POR (7 nights) is 3404. The total is exactly half of that, which I confirmed with the CM when I booked. The web site is wrong often.

Remember that Disney's My Vacation area is a BETA version of the software which means there will be glitches in the system

I got through very quickly this morning and had the AP Code applied to my existing ressie and added two days to it. I just checked online and it's OK--the new amount and the two added days are there.

I called for my ressie, but can view it on-line. Mine shows no balance due...still owe $648.00 and it also says my 5 night room only rate is 1,140...which it is only $764.00. I called right away, and she said don't pay attention to that...that the right amount I owed was in the computer.

My online ressie informatin says for 3 nights at POP, the total comes to $4300. Wow! That's some stay!!!

Those 3 nights at POP should have been cancelled, and instead, we should see an 8-night ressie at AKL. I think they just combined our previous ressies (3 nights at POP and 5 nights at AKL) with the new ones that included the AP rates. At least, I hope that's the case ...

I just called WDW and they told me the AP rate is for package only. I have a room only reservation at this time. Has anyone had success of adding AP rate to room only?
