Got all plans changed! :)

So DH & I had planned a trip for my birthday weekend, October 27 to 31st. We got a great airfare on Southwest and then got MNSSHP tickets for the 30th.

Fast forward to this week. DH has a business trip to go on during the same time frame (27th & 28th). On top of that we have had a couple big expenses come up. So can't go on our trip due to DH's trip and budget is tight.

We looked at the calendar and decided to change our trip to December. We were able to change our resort reservations to December 14th to 19th. Got the resort we wanted. Checked into changing our flights, for an additional $68 we got our flights changed. So far so good.

Called today about the MNSSHP tickets, I explained about the business trip and having to change our entire trip. The CM asks when we are coming back and I give her the dates. She asks if we want to attend the MVMCP during our stay. YES, YES!! Got tickets changed for the exact same price.

The only thing I have not been able to get are dining reservations for the two restaurants we really like. Oh well, that is not as important to us.

We really had hoped to take this trip for my birthday, but now going during December is even better. We hated that we might be out the cost of the plane tickets and the MNNSHP tickets. Finally things are kind of going in our favor.

I'm glad everything worked out for you! Our dates are December 10-16, so we will have a couple days that overlap. Are you as excited as I am about seeing Disney at Christmas?!? Which MVMCP are y'all going to?

We are going to the one on the 16th. We arrive on Wednesday in the evening so that ruled out that night. So we decided to go on the Saturday.

We love going during this time of year. This is the latest we have ever gone though. Usually we go right after Thanksgiving. My DH & I love Christmas time. Our dream trip would be Wilderness Lodge over Christmas & New Year's. Maybe even a vow renewal since our anniversary is Jan 2nd. One of these days.

Another good thing is that I don't have to find a costume for the MNSSHP.

Keep checking on those ADRs. I have been reading where people look and look and suddenly the dates and times they want pop up!

We got breakfast reservations at Tusker House for Saturday the 17th. I really wish we could get Crystal Palace or Le Cellier.

Now the only thing I have to do is call WDW and change my flight information. I thought I would be able to change it online, but it won't allow me to do that.

I would like to do our dream trip for a special anniversary. Hopefully for our 25th.
