I'm not sure why I'm posting them, except I'm just so excited about my trip!! I'm bring my SO :lovestruc to WDW for his first visit ever! I want him to have a great time, and I've tried to make some ADRs, but also give us meals where we can just opt for counter service or eat at the resort.

The first ressie I'm wondering about is our first night, at Tony's. Our flight arrives at 5:00, and I thought it would be pushing it to make an earlier dinner reservation because you have to take into account the possibility of a delayed flight, getting from the airport to the resort, checking in, getting settled, etc. But then I realized that dinner at 8:00 means we will be inside during the parade. Hmmm. If we can see it from our table, I don't think it's an issue. It's really not an issue anyway because the parade is nice but not a dealbreaker or anything, but I would like him to be able to see it if possible. Any thoughts? Would you change it to 7:00 maybe, so we can eat and then see the parade?

Here's our itinerary:

5/23/08 - Tony's Town Square dinner at 8:00 p.m.

5/24/08 - 50's Primetime Cafe lunch at 12:30 p.m.

5/25/08 - Les Chefs De France lunch at 12:30 p.m.

5/26/08 - Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater lunch at 12:25 p.m.

5/26/08 - Tusker House dinner at 7:50 p.m.

I'd also like opinions about Tusker House. I'm not really HUGE on buffets, because I like to just sit and relax when I'm dining. If there is another dinner suggestion at Animal Kingdom, I'd love your opinions on that too! :dance3:

I never ate at Tusker House, but there is Yak and Yeti now at AK that is not a buffet. I have that booked for this years trip, haven't eaten there myself.

We're trying Yak and Yeti on 5/26 for dinner. It's not a buffet. We really enjoy Boma at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, quick 10 min bus ride from the park. It is also a buffet, but has some really interesting food choices, lots of variety and has always been very good.
