Got airfare, stateroom on cruise still looking for best room at Poly

I have read several posts, but still find I have no answers. Can anyone recommend a good building/room with a 3 year old, that has great views plus is close to all?

Have you looked at tikiman;s site. Also is your cruise room/resort room based on the same category. I thought they told us ours was once. But I really don't remember. What exactly are you getting so we can help you, garden view etc. I know this might sound crazy but to be close to everything maybe you should be in the middle. What also is your priority. Closer to beach, closer to marina, closer to pool etc. If you prefer closer to marina then that would be fiji and aeorotora etc. Do you prefer being closer to the GCH and captain cooks then that would also be aeorotora for garden view, samoa for garden view etc.
We just got back from samoa 1602 pool view. We really dont spend too much time in the room so the view was not that important but the convenience of getting to captain cooks with hungry kids and to the GCH for the monorail was. It was a little longer to the bus stop. We just cut through niue and rarotonga during rain storms and to get some a/c too. I would pick a longhouse and fax your request before you arrive. It sounds like it will be busy due to the FTP. Also some longhouses do not have balconies on the 2nd floor. That is one reason I asked for 1st floor and because of ds asthma I wanted him to have quick access to the room if he had an attack while swimming. You will love the poly.

They have not told me what category room i could get, only what category hotel. I would prefer a 2nd floor balcony. Which buildings have these? Also are some buildings newer or renovated? I would also like something close to the TTC.
