Got a postcard and applied it to AAA pkg

I got a postcard this week. I already have a AAA pkg. So first I called WDW myself and got $79 for CBR. Then today I talked to my travel agent. She took my pin #, called WDW and they applied the code to my ressie. I had to forfeit the 25 Disney Dollars that were to come with the pkg but I saved over $350.

Also the postcard came in a similiar but different last name then mine. Major spelling error. WDW honored it after a bit of checking because the first name and address were correct.

I am thinking of booking our next trip through AAA. So you received a post card with a lower hotel rate than AAA, and they were able to honor it? Without changing any of the other features of your package? Did you book with AAA or another agent? What does your package have? We want resort for 8 nights, 7 day MYW park tickets with hopping and Plus Pack, dining, and Magical Express. Just wondering how a code might help! Thanks!!

What they did was to cancel your AAA package and rebook you as a room only with tickets.

Pin codes can not be booked as packages only room only.
