Got a new ride to Disney.

I too just bought a G5!! It is just for me 17 Km trip to work everyday. Im filling up every two weeks.

Same dilemma with the truck thing....I have a 1 year old Ford F150....loaded...I love it.....it's costing me 160.00 to fill it :(...I have a Jetta TDI that use to cost me 35.00 to fill.....now it 70.00 :(.....My daughter will be driving next year so I am thinking we will be liquidating and buying 2 Toyota Yaris's ( that thing fits in the flat bed of my truck)...but if this keeps up we will have no choice. We have horses....maybe we'll start riding them to work!

MEI, Oh my god that brings back memories. My buddy Mark still has an MEI amp in his basement. My dad use to wonder how I could drive around in a car that costs less than the stereo in it.:rotfl2:

I still have a Sony Head unit, Orion 150 amp, single 12 inch Rockford Fosgate in a box and another 10 inch Cerwin Vega in another box and a bunch of speakers and wires.

Hows that for memories 4disneyfan?

LOL man the memories I tell ya. Mind you our 98 Malibu has a Pioneer Premiere MP3 headunit Pheonix Gold amp and MTX box with 10"Blue Thunder sub in it in the trunk. With a Clifford alarm supposedly protecting it. I also have MB Quart speakers in teh doors.

LOL too funny we are buing a bigger truck I could care less if the price of gas hits 10 bucks a litre I will still pay it as I love to drive and when I do I want to drive in comfort and style no matter the cost.

I have a 2006 G5/Pursuit in the same colour. Sunroof and all.

The CAA trip calculator says it will only cost $310 round trip to Disney compared to the Silverado at $760. Guess which one is going to Florida in Dec.
The funny thing is we both loved the trucks but now we are fighting over who gets to drive the putt, putt.:rotfl: This is the first little car I have ever owned and I love it but I had to get the windows tinted so no one can see me. :rotfl2:

Chris.

Totally off topic but where did you locate the CAA Trip calculator with the gas calculations? I can only find the regular mapquest type trip planner.
