got a late christmas present

I had my first ultra sound Friday 12/27
and my 13 week old baby is doing wonderfully
I have been so nervous about this since my miscarriage 3 yrs ago
I was just afraid something would be wrong
but everything is fine
baby was even sucking it thumb or fist during the ultrasound
breathing a sigh of relief for an uneventful pregnancy

That is great news......nothing like seeing the baby for the first time..... I am 22 weeks along and just had my Level 2 US..... Are you having one of those?? They are really cool..... you get to see the 4 chambers of the heart, liver, 2 sections of the brain, umbilical cord and so much more! Not all docs have their patients do them..... mine does, since I am high risk (old and history of gestational diabieties)

Cant wait for the next update!
