We bought my DS an XBox 360 60 gb not quite two years ago from Best Buy. It's been acting up lately, and on Sunday, it just died. I had purchased the extended warranty, so I brought it in, along with all the required cords (power and AV), and they had to have Microsoft send me a replacement refurbished item. It came in yesterday -- with only one part of the 2-piece power cord! The system had changed inbetween the model I had originally bought and the newest model, so the power cord plug was different -- and Best Buy couldn't find another half of a power cord that would fit -- and the new model's AV cords didn't have the same plug -- SO THEY GAVE ME A BRAND NEW 250GB MODEL! 
Apparently they no longer offer the 60 gb hard drive, only 4 and 250. I sure expected them to tell me I'd have to wait for Microsoft to send me the other half of the correct power cord or make some other excuse -- but they didn't!
If you have an older Xbox with an extended warranty still in effect and have to bring it in for warranty, just be careful to be sure you can get all the correct cords back with it. Microsoft apparently only sends back the transformer part of the power cord!
