We are going in December, arriving on a Sunday, I was able to get a free emerald club (used the code from mousesavers.com) and then get the 3 day weekend rate, even though it will be Sun - Wed!

This is my first time renting in Orlando, and I was really worried about the lines, but, with this I can skip the counter all together.

WOO-HOO.

I am so GLAD you posted your comments!! I have looked at that info at Mouesavers so many times and I NEVER noticed the free membership offer before! Thank you so very much!!! :hyper:

Is there a link, or what subject do you look under? I would love to have the EA especially for free.

thanks
jo ~~ goin in July for a "magical gathering" 4 generations. Yike what was I thinking

I'm one of many on these boards who signed up several years ago for the free membership and let me say, you need to do this if you haven't already. Mine and others, membership is good until the year 2037. Pretty good price. My husband loves using EA, and National is our rental company by choice. Even when it's a few dollars more than Dollar, we still stay with national. We are happy customers and love the perk of EA or even ER (have yet to use ER though). We use national 4-6 times a year and combined with these boards, if there's a cheaper price or if the price drops, you will be sure to hear it here first!

It is Emerald Club, you rent from the Emerald Aisle for Intermediates.
At any rate, here is the link. http://www.nationalcar.com/cgi-bin/enrollC.pl/TURNER/7232219

don't worry about the mention of the 50.00, it is waived. Honest!!!!

National is the preferred rental company for DH's company, so he's been an Emerald member for years. It is a bit of a letdown that due to their recent changes in membership levels, we won't be seeing any more convertibles in the EA. That was fun while it lasted though. We did use the Emerald Reserve aisle (needed a mini van) on a recent trip to Philadelphia and had no problems.

Thanks to the folks on this board, I saved $80 on our May rental just by going back and rechecking the rates.
