Got a december pin code

Just got an email from Disney Destinations. it said Enjoy Birthday Magic at a Disney Resort. Turns out it was a pin code for Dec.1-23!
I was thinking about going to WDW 12/3-7 for a short trip to celebrate a BIG birthday. I wasn't sure if I could afford to go since we are going in August,(also 40% code) but how can I pass this up?
Now to make plans in secret. Would like to surprise my DS this time around.

I got a birthday pin code for my bday month (40% off), but DH didn't get one for his.....so I'm not sure how Disney is deciding who gets one and who doesn't . But we both received emails for free dining for dates in Oct/Nov/Dec .

I wonder how they know our birthdays. Not that I mind getting Disney pin codes for gifts, I just don't remember anytime I gave mine
