Hi!

Got back about a week and a half ago. When I originally booked my reservation I just booked a 1 BR at OKW. Some friends decided to join us and I tried to book a 2 BR but there was no availability, so I just booked them a studio and requested the same building or at least that the rooms be close together. When we arrived, it was late in the evening. The girl at the desk kept trying and trying to find us 2 rooms close together. She finally came back with a studio and 1 BR that were next to each other. We were pleased with that.....until we got to our room and found out that it was really a lock-off and we really did have a 2 BR like we originally wanted! A little Disney magic at the start of a fun vacation! And we saved a few points!:goodvibes

Happy to hear your room arrangements worked out well for you.

Does "And we saved a few points" refer to you being charged points for a two-bedroom unit rather than a one-bedroom and a studio? Unless something has changed recently, you still are being charged the higher cost of two separate units.

I would be happy to hear they actually credited you the point difference, but I don't think that is the case.

They should have charged you for the 1 BR and studio rather than the 2 BR price in this situation.

It worked out that you got them together.

Not sure of your date of arrival, but for 12/13 a studio at OKW was 8 points, 1 bedroom 16 points (total combined 24 points), a 2 bedroom 22 points. How many points did you pay? If they only charged you 22 points, did the other 2 go into holding?
