Gossip Girl?

I saw the new episode today.
Yeah, I'm behind. CTV dropped the show, don't know why...
So I had to watch it on some sketchy site.
But whatever.
It was good =)

i'm so confused with what happend in the last episode.

what happend with what georgina put in her drink?
cuz if what happend actually equals what i'm thinking then i'm pretty sure that serena is the gay one.

and i know that in the books chuck is gay, but i think it's either serena or her bro.
but i think they put her bro through wayy to much (ie his almost committing suicide and all) to make him gay, too.

ps. what do we think of the whole vanessa/nate thing???

It's a date rape drug.
I'm pretty sure she probably took Serena back to her hotel, and Serena passed out.
Serena has a past with Georgina (like with with), I'm pretty sure that's what she's hiding.

And I love the Nate & Vanessa thing, but it's not going to last.

I would read the books if I knew what stinking order they were in. Anyone care to explain?

It should say in the newer editions of the books?
Or you could take the last book and look there.
They have the titles in order in them.

ohhhhh

i thought when the said "history with" that it just meant that like they did bad things together.

okay so serena's the gay one.

and i agree. i like vanessa/nate but i'm pretty sure that blair's gonna do something pretty mean to make nate dump her.

Very likely she did have a history. I read on Perez Hilton that there's going to be scenes of her making out with Georgina.

But, no there is a gay guy.

And I'm sure Vanessa/ Nate won't last because if the show ends (lol, that's probably forever away) how the books do, she's with Dan, and Nate sails away, not with anyone.

I've read the books.
They're pretty good.
Inappropriate, sort of. But who cares. It's what our lifestyle is nowadays.

And I've not watched the show, except one episode.
It's okay.

I LOVE Gossip Girl. I starting watching it and got hooked at the beginning of the season. But of course Monday night the heavens decided to pour out of the sky so i lost power and missed the episode. Guess i will have to try and catch it on sunday.
P.S. I totally agree with the OP, once you watch it you are hooked. And please watch, i wouldn't want to see the show go away because of stupid ratings!!

If it aired on Mondays here, I would never get to watch it. I already have two tv shows on that night.
But it doesn't air here.
So I have to stick to my Korean (or possibly Chinese or Japanese) buddy who tapes it and puts it online with foreign subtitles.

does the show follow the book directly??

cuz i've never read the books. just got hooked on the show.

and how do you know it's a gay guy?

Not at all. They're pretty different.

Some stuff:

- Nate's two best friends in the books are Serena and Blair, while also hanging out with boys named Anthony, Charlie and Jeremy. He also couldn't stand Chuck. In the TV series, Chuck is Nate's very best friend.

- In the TV series, it is said that Nate and Blair have been dating since kindergarten, whereas in the book series, they have only been dating since right before Serena left for Boarding School.

- Jenny in the books has brown curly hair and a huge chest.

- In the book series, Dan dates Serena only for a brief period of time; in the TV series he dates Serena through a span of months.

- In the book series, he dates Serena only for a brief period of time; in the TV series he dates Serena through a span of months.

- In the books, Serena came home from boarding school because she got kicked out for not returning for the beginning of senior year; in the TV series, the television version of her sibling, Eric, attempts suicide, compelling Serena to return home (in her junior year).

- In the books, Serena’s parents are still married and her mother, Lilian, never spoke to Dan Humphrey’s father, let alone dated him; In the TV series, Serena’s mom dated Dan’s father, Rufus.
