We've always been curious but have never pursued the Gospel Brunch at House of Blues. Opinions? Good food? Good music?

Anyone know if you can make reservations in advance for this? I'd like to go during Thanksgiving week (Sunday before T-day!).

We are going for the first time in Nov. I did call and made a reservation. I cant wait to go. I will post pictures and reviews since there is not any out there! I would call asap to make reservations:banana:

I looked at the menu and there is one for breakfast and one for lunch. Can you choose from both or is the breakfast menu for the 10:30 seating and the lunch menu for the 1:00 seating? The menus look fabulous!

When we went 3 years ago you could choose from both buffet tables at the 10.30 event.

Those of you who booked by phone did you still have to pay all the additional fees that seem to be added on if you do it online which jump the price up to about $176 + another as yet undisclosed processing fee for 4 of us?

I was trying yesterday to ring them but got no answer.

Thanks :)

a great time. I've been to the gospel brunch at DTD and Myrtle Beach. Enjoyed both but the DTD location had a better selection of food (and a higher price).

The buffet items are available at both seatings.

It's definitely worth doing at least once ... great music and a good selection of both breakfast and lunch / dinner buffet items.

Buy your tickets in advance to be on the safe side - they sometimes will sell out an entire session to convention groups (that has happened to us in Orlando, Vegas, and New Orleans).

Also ... the last time we went photography wasn't allowed during the show. And it's very dark inside the venue and you're only taking pictures of food items on a buffet or a clump of food on your plate - it's not a great event for food porn, imho. We posted a review of it when we did go (May 2007) but it was lacking in pictures for the reasons I listed above.

Still, to each his own! :lmao: I hope you enjoy it - we really had a great time when we attended.

I know I mean to try it and forget. I love Gospel music and I have heard food is great. The next must do for us.

I was looking at getting tickets online, Ticketmaster charge fee on top of fee! What is up with that?? Do we have to pay all those fees if we just walk up and get tickets on the spot? Anyone?
