GORGEOUS black kitty.. pics inside!

As some of you know I do animal rescue. A few of you hear helped me on a transport this past fall to get a kitty to his forever home.. thank you SO VERY MUCH!

So now that I know disers have huge hearts, are willing to help, and care about animals... my friend rescued this girl and is desperate to place her.... asap.

Just look at her face! She's in Long Island but transports are possible!!!

My name is Princess (well thats what my guardian is calling me) I am single and available for a new and long lasting relationship, I have medium to longish silky black hair that I wear with pride and groom to purrrfection and oh yes it is naturally this color and I have greenish gold eyes with just a touch of crosseyed appeal that doesnt hinder my vision and adds to my special look

Children are no longer on my list to do and I am working on my figure as I was well under weight when I arrived and now weigh approximately 9 pounds although I dont dare step on a scale, I stand 9 inches tall to my shoulders and 27 inches long from nose to tall extended of course, I am approximately 2 years old but have been known to lie about my age

my likes are long brushes to make my hair shine, manicures when possible, tummy rubs, ear rubs and all around general snuggling for long lasting purrs

My former people decided they didnt want me any more after I had my kittens and sent me packing with my last baby out on the street 2 days before Halloween. My baby got separated from me but I was fortunate to wander into this home where I share quarters with two minors who constantly want my attention (kids!)

I am good natured with a very sweet disposition, I enjoy alot of one on one time and have grown accustomed to living inside only, I am not a jumper but do like to lounge on the back of a couch every day, I like other cats but could be extremely happy by myself as the center of attention

I am extremely neat but not obsessive with my litter box , I prefer dry food but will indulge in a can of wet morsals just for adventure but its not necessary to make me happy

I love treats and get hairball remedy on a regular basis to help me along with all my grooming . I dont converse alot and when I do its a soft mew to get your attention but wont be a pest if you are busy I am happy just to be in the same room with you

I am ready to travel and will go any where to meet my special match pm me any time day or night did I mention that I am available ?

That cat is adorable! And what a foofy tail!

I wish we could, but can't. Our male cat likes to nip, can scratch and probably will be territorial (even though he is neutered and de-clawed).

There are 2 other black equally gorgeous kitties I will post. If ANY of you have the space in your home and heart for one they are truely desperate for homes... everyone wants colorful kitties or kittens. These 3 I know of had VERY rough starts.... and would love some lovin'.

Here is another.. Alex is in Michigan... he wandered into a dog rescue kennel I used to volunteer at... wanted human attention so bad, he dangerously went up to the volunteers even when they were working with cat aggressive dogs. Apparently if you want a cat who LOVES giving affection, he's the one for you. He's good with dogs and other cats as well!

He is in Michigan.. here's what his fostermom says:
He is a very sweet cat and loves nothing more than to be on someone's lap purring. He would be perfect for someone who wants a lot of attention from their cat. He does well with the dogs and uses his litterbox faithfully.

He's about 2 years old, not yet fixed and has a cute stubby tail. I will pay his adoption fee or neuter (depending on whether it goes through MHAF or Amy directly) and transport can happen just about anywhere.

Is anyone looking for a new companion?

I just love his tail!

Dogs.. I will find out from her fostermom... she's young yet though so I think she could adjust. I also have plenty of info on how to introduce a new kitty to other pets so the cohabitation goes as smooth as possible.

How do I arrange transports so far? I keep in touch with a huge network of rescuers throughout the US and canada.... we do transport trains. I drive an hour to the next person who drives an hour to the next person.. and so on. Some people take HUGE chunks of the train. I transported 8 doggies once this way it was fun.

For the legs that aren' tfilled, I post places like here and other animal friendly forums.... Disers took 2 legs last time.. one diser even let the kitty stay the night at her house because the transport was long!!! It was wonderful

Some rescuers also have resources to fly and will take a small animal on the plane with them to ge tto their forever home It's very rewarding!

Here is Rebound.... the 3rd mousketeer (or would that be mouser???) that really needs a home. His fostermom has to leave town in 2 weeks for SIX MONTHS and is desperate to find him a home. He just started showing up at her home hungry and desperate for love and... she couldn't turn him away. He is in Baton Rouge so he may be a survivor of katrina just searching the past year for a home....

This little guy is very talkative... I'm guessing part siamese? He loves dogs.... he's only about a year old and desperate for a home...

If this boy IS a katrina survivor.. which he likely is... and has been living on the streets since...doesn't he deserve a safe place to sleep at night for once? imagine what he went through. It's heartbreaking.

DH said no more cats (again another )... he isn't being mean we just have a zoo here right now along with the 3 girls...

I wish all of you who said you wish could too! LOL..... I've cross posted this on a few boards and so far nobody wants them I love black cats too but unfortunately most people thinkt hey're too plain.

I don't believe any are declawed... The women who have each would never do this so if any are, it was a cruel cruel person who dumped them. I'm 99% sure they are not declawed, though.

I got my last cat because he was rescued... someone had him in a pillowcase with rocks and dumped him in the lake... a local vet found him and his sisters. It was such a horrible story. I can't imagine doing that to even a flea.

They are ALL so beautiful. Whatever happand to the first cats kitten. How did you find out that the cat and kitten were sent packing before Halloween?
I LOVE black cats. Once I had one, I was hooked. I have three indoor cats and two stray outdoor cats that I hope to help.
Although the inn is full, I would be very happy to help with your transport system if you need someone in my neck of the woods.
Please keep us posted.
Atleast they all look like they are not in cages now and are in a home envirment while waiting for their forever home. I've said it before and i'll say it again, I believe there is a special place in heaven for people who do animal rescue.

I've had black cats and love them too. They are so sleek and elegant.

I wish I could take one but money is tight lately and you never know about vet bills. Maybe I can rescue another in the future if you keep posting.
