Are these types allowed in parks. figured I'd ask because I would hate to bring it and get in taken away. It's great for Stability while recording. I never use it on rides either, ok on the tea cups once. I mean I guess I could wear my chesty or head mounts to keep more steady, but this works great

Looks like a selfie stick to me. I'd be cautious and leave it in the room.

The "grip" would be OK (doesn't extend), the "reach" would not (it extends)

The restriction says "hand-held extension poles for cameras and mobile devices".. its hand held, but doesn't extend so thats a grey area. Personally I'd leave it behind.

I can see why it would be a selfie stick that's why I ask. This one doesn't extend whatsoever. I have one that extends, but never use it since getting this one

Yeah, I was guessing a CM wouldn't take a much longer look at it than I did so they would likely reach the same conclusion. They obviously see TONS, though, so maybe they are familiar enough with it to let you bring it in? I personally would not risk it. Too much of a hassle.

You should be fine, provided you can show it doesn't extend. There is a fella I follow on Periscope who uses a gimbal, it is much larger than that and he has not had any issues.

I have a bobber grip I plan on bringing. If it doesn't extend, it doesn't pose an issue and isn't against their policy. Gopros are so tiny, do they really expect us to use them without any sort of grip mount? I don't want to wear my camera, so I should be able to hold it in my hands like everyone else does with their cameras...:confused3

I believe the official rules stated that these were okay as they do not extend, but your mileage may vary depending on the Cast Member.

So true, heck I was seeing and the gopro and handle/grip together isn't much bigger then my dad's cell phone or even my iPhone

yeah thats the one thing I'm worried about some CM's let guests in then others don't

It's fine. I work Main Entrance at MK from time to time and see plenty of "just hand grips". Hand grips that extend past the hand, no go. The Grenade grip is just under 6" length so fine. The "Reach" extension pole is not.

cool that's great to hear. deff not a reach though I do own one, but I never use it. I might have used it once at home, but this one is so much better since small and still get a selfie or myself in a video with it.
