O.K. so here's the deal. I heard you can do a people search to find a persons address, phone #, ect. I decided to try and google search my maiden name. I did come up with my information, correct address, ect., the only thing is.... they have me listed as being 71 years old!!!! I am only 39. Anybody know how I can correct this? Apparently this is a search of government records and such and I would like for this to be corrected. Has anyone ever used Google search or Yahoo search to get information on anyones background before??

I don't know how to correct that. I did a search under my name and didn't find anything with my address, etc. What did you put in the search to come up with that?

I just typed in my last name (maiden) and my first name and it came up with all my previous addresses as well as my current address. Funny thing is they only have me listed as being 71 under my maiden name. My married name comes up with the correct age. Too funny! They also gave me the option to do an extended background check on myself for a fee. Gives you criminal history (yikes), any property owned and numerous other information that I though was supposed to be confidential. I don't have anything to hide, just thought that was a little weird. I mean anybody can find out anything about you for about $30.00. Pretty scary.

Well, no one must want to know anything about me because none of that comes up when I do a search on my name. I just get links to newspaper articles I am in and some groups I am in that have websites.

Did you do a yahoo search? Go to www.yahoo.com. Click on people search and type in your name. It came up for me and I searched various family members as well. (just for kicks)
