Does anybody have a overhead view, like a Google Earth of the WDW property? I am a brand new DVC member, and although I have been to Disney many times, I have only stayed on property twice! I would really like to get a feel for where the 4 parks are in connection to each other, where all the resorts are...etc...

I read a post earlier today that MK was 6 miles from Epcot... is that really true. I just don't have a great grasp of where everything is in connection to each other!

thanks

;)Robo will be here in a minute and send you the link....:rotfl2:I love his maps and stuff. If he doesn't have it no one does. Robo are you out there?

Maybe I'm missing something, but why not just use Google Earth? I do...

The images can be a little dated - for instance, still no Kidani Village or BLT construction - but I use them all the time to plan...

P.S. MK Gate to Epcot gate as the crow flies is only about 3 miles. It might be 6 miles from one side of WDW/RCID property to the other.

What you are missing is there isn't a straight road at WDW (yes I'm being a bit hyperbolic.) They all the useful ones curve around so you only see what the imagineers want you to see.

6 miles sounds about right because of the way you have to drive. There is no way to get from one to the other "as the crow flies."

Not really missing it. The OPs statement was about how far apart MK and Epcot are.

If you are driving yourself, from parking lot (TTC) to parking lot, you'll drive about 3.6 miles, not including time getting out of the TTC lot.

If you are taking the monorail, the express line to the TTC and then the Epcot line around to the station will be on the order of 5.5 miles.
