Goofy's vs Surf's Up throw down

I am new to Disney. What is Surf's Up? I can't find it on the Character Dining list on the disneyland website? What is the official name for it? When i select character dining, I see Ariel, PCH Grill, Plaza Inn, Goofy, and Storyteller. So is Surfs Up the PCH Grill at the PPH? thanks

Yes its at the PCH Grill in PPH. Its Mickeys Breakfast.

We did Surf's Up 2 years ago and Goofy's Kitchen for dinner last year. Both were great, but we'll go back to Goofy's next time. The thing that I look at most is that none of us are big breakfast eaters, and we get free breakfast at the hotel, which while it's nothing fancy, is plenty for us. So, pay $100+ for breakfast at Surf's Up that we won't eat enough of to justify the cost while have a free option for breakfast instead... or figure we would have been spending around $50 on dinner somewhere else anyway so then the price of Goofy's seems more practical.

My family prefers Surf's Up. We like the characters better (only one with the Mouse man himself), as well as the show and surroundings. Goofy's is dark and we always ALWAYS have to talk to a manager about being skipped by characters. I hate that!

Thanks for all the responses everyone. I did wind up changing our reservation to surfs up, based on your I out and on the fact that the reservation time options were better for the day we are planning to go.

I just made reservations for us at two places; One @ Goofy's, and one at Storytellers Cafe. We've done Surf's Up the last 2 times, and we won't have any little ones in our group this time, so it makes sense. Looking forward to the meals! :thumbsup2 :cool1: :yay: :cheer2:

No advice, but thought I'd mention that the title made me do a double take. I saw the words "Throw" and "Up" side by side, and I guess it says something about my mind that it reversed the order.

We did Goofy's for dinner, Surf's up for Breakfast, the boys enjoyed Surf's up more, they loved Stitch and the dancing.
