There will be 8 of us that want to do a character dinner meal, but we won't be doing the theme parks. Is Goofy's Kitchen the only choice? Thanks - Sue

Enjoy the antics of these two chipmunk scouts and the all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet. (quiet atmosphere...characters stay at the door, you can order off menu rather than buffet if you wish)

For dinner, Goofy's is your only option outside of the parks. It might be the only character dinner option at all (I think Avalon Cove extends their characters to dinner sometimes).

At least that's what I recall from our trip.

Goofy's kitchen is great. we were very impressed w/ the character interaction. The food is wonderful also, but being from Vegas (land of Buffets) we rated the selection as medium. After you add in the character interaction, this is a MUST DO in our book.

Snow White was there during our breakfast and there was no line to see her, so she was able to spend lots of time w/ my girls. They are princess feaks so this is one of the hilights of the trip. She talked to them for almost 10 minutes one time (we saw her 4 different times). Pluto would lick my 22 month old everytime he walked by her. More great photo's.

Make sure to make reservations where ever you choose. The standby line was 45 minutes at 8:00 am and the park didn't open until 10:00 that day. With our reservation we waited less than 5 minutes. When we left at 9:30 the place was a MAD HOUSE. We could barely get thru the sea of people to get out.

I second the idea of making reservations. I callled 25+ days out for Goofys Kitchen and on the day I wanted they had no times left for lunch and took a dinner time instead which is ok but more expensive. The dinner time I wanted for Avalon Cove was also gone so call early!!

I dont think it has any more health issues than any other restaurant or your local McDonalds. If I obsess over those things I would probably never eat out. Those issues was started by an ex-CM, I would not worry too much
